Together Forever DDR from Jenna on Vimeo.
I don’t look cool while doing it, but I doubt anyone plays because they want to look cool.
We have DDR 1, 2, 3, 4 for XBOX and we just purchased a Playstation so I can play my favorite version PS2 version, DDR2 (and probably collect the rest of the versions as well). AND That Husband has it set up so we can play Step Mania from the the computer on the TV, which has a catalog of 14,000 songs.
Yeah, that’s techno speak for “I’m a total nerd and I don’t even mind having all of you know about it.”
Now is the time to out yourself as a fellow Dance Dance Revolution aficionado as well! (Ethidium Bromide I already know about you!)

Yup. I love DDR. I have it for the Wii. Although I do not have a cool pad like you. Just the one that came with the game.

Gratz on the super cool pad! Mr. M bought me my own XBox when we first started dating along with pads so I could DDR all I wanted in my bottom-floor apartment. I’d wake up every morning and workout to it. It’s been replaced by Wii Fit right now… but if/when we get hardwood floors, I might move back to the DDR.

I’ve never played this game, but have a serious crush on it! I need to find someone close to me who has this game so we can play it. (Or I suppose we could just go out and buy it ourselves! Hehe.)

We don’t have DDR but we do have Rock Band. I always get to play the drums and with all that kick peddle action I work up quite a sweat doing that as well.

Haha, that’s awesome! I have to admit that I am not a DDR aficionado. I’ve actually only played it once in my life and it was an EPIC FAIL. (ie. I thought you were supposed to move your feet once the arrows arrived on the screen – I was quite wrong. )
PS. Is your page snowing on purpose?

I’ve never tried it on XBOX, is it any different? I miss the OLD SCHOOL original DDR versions that you can’t find anymore. They had the BEST songs. My college roommate had a Playstation rigged with some home-soddered in chip so you could play home-burned Japanese versions of Playstation games on it that were so much better than the American releases. I never was brave enough to try to sodder in a chip into my own PS2, so I don’t have those versions… I miss them! It has been so long since I’ve played DDR, but it ALWAYS comes out for our holiday party so I guess I should pull out my mats and start practicing.

We dont’ have DDR at our apartment… but I’d love to get it. We DO have Wii Fit but like never ever use it.

OK I have NEVER played, mostly because I have only been offered the chance around real DDR playes, and I get nervous I will look completely stupid doing it. I have ALWAYS wanted to attempt, but feel like out in public may not be the best way to start.

Ha. I’ve never had the patience or coordination for DDR. That is so neat though. I’m a nerd about other games (FInal Fantasy for example) and it’s so nice to have a hobby! I love your huge smile at the end. I’d hate to have an apartment below yours

I love DDR! I haven’t played it in a while but at the height of my obsession even the expert mode became boring so I played on 2 pads!
