The Hills of the Depot

I try not to repost all of the fun things I find for I fear I would overwhelm you with information. But I just can’t resist this one.

I am so glad you shared this. It put a smile on my face on this rainy morning. You know what it is for? It is a commercial for the new TV show “Looking for the new Maria.” It’s one the talent shows we have going on here, you have them too. And this one is in Belgium….

I _love_ these! I teared up a bit, too… I think it’s the fact that the bored travelers stop, watch, and then start clapping, dancing, laughing – and, I dunno, thinking about what’s special about our humanness?
It’s just cool to see a group of people put what’s clearly a lot of effort into something “frivolous” like dancing in public.
And I know it’s an ad, but this is an advertising idea I can get behind! :-)

I think that’s exactly it – the bored travellers suddenly have this unexpected joy brought into their lives, and they just LOVE it. And so do I!

Plus anything Sound of Music-related is fine by me! :-)

Don’t worry! Choking up is completely normal and I’d go almost so far as to say expected.

This is so fantastic – totally made my day!! And as a dancer, I totally cried. Silly? Maybe. But dance can show who we are at the core of our “humanness” and can connect strangers in, really, the strangest of places. Love it!!

I love it! I haven’t seen this particular one before, but I know there are several along the same lines on You Tube. There’s also a pretty funny “drama” in a food court posted. They are so awesome!

I had to send that to my husband. This is what he thinks ALL musicals are like.

Completely amazing! Forget that The Sound of Music is probably my favorite musical EVER! I WISH I could be a part of something like that. Or at least witness it in person. Best. Thing. EVER.

That was by far the coolest video I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure something like that should happen in every town.
