My servers been down so I’ve been unable to post until now. I’m working on another Sunday post so this one will be short, but I hope that the reading is going well for all of those who began with me 5 weeks ago. Tuesday’s reading is the halfway point!
This week I had the pleasure of reading one of my favorite verses of scripture, Alma 5:14:
And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye spiritually been born of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty change in your hearts?
I’ve loved it since I was young, probably because I grew up listening to this song by Janice Kapp Perry.
I love Alma 5:14, but it’s Alma 5:26 that always hits me the hardest, and reminds me that my faith needs constant nourishing.
And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?
