It was bound to happen eventually, but I was working really hard to avoid it….
I’m officially behind, significantly behind, in my reading. Being behind doesn’t give me much time for posting (because I really should be reading right now, not sitting in from of the computer
) I’m flying back and forth to Washington over the next few weeks and hopefully that travel time will give me the chance to catch up again.
I’ll leave you with the verse that gives me the answer to not falling behind in the challenge anymore:
Use boldness, but not overbearance; and also see that ye bridle all your passions, that ye may be filled with love; see that ye refrain from idleness. Alma 38: 12
Less time blogging, Hulu-ing, and sleeping might help me finish on time!

I don’t know if Alma 34 covers this week, but I’d have to say that verses 33-35 cover my current feelings with finals this week. In verse 33 it says:
“…I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentence until the end…”
and then, in 34: “Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God…”
and finally, in 35:
“For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this is the final state of the wicked.”
