For further information about what this is and why I’m doing it, you can read more about 10,000 Comment Thank You Giveaway Week here.
Tina Martin Designs has the kind of pieces I favorite over and over on Etsy, not only because of the beautiful designs, but because she fashions her pieces from re-purposed materials collected from flea markets and estate sales. I almost feel like I should apologize for introducing all of you to her stuff because you are going to be drooling over what you find. And wanting. Wanting with all your heart and soul.
Like this In Bloom Brooch necklace.
Or this Starbright Shell Charm Necklace.
Oh my, or these Antique Charm Earrings.

For this giveaway, Tina sent over this Green German Glass Pendant Necklace. To quote her:
I chose it for its unique look. The pendant is green German glass (vintage) attached toa sterling silver chain with champagne colored fresh water pearls, connected by silver filigree charms found at the flea market. All wire, chain, and clasps are sterling silver.

This piece is gorgeous in person, and I chose to save it for a giveaway toward the end of the week because I wanted to give something really special to those who have been some of the most frequent contributors to That Wife. These are the kind of pieces that become heirlooms, and I’m looking forward to seeing the name of the wonderful commenter I’ll be mailing this to. My photos don’t do it justice, I think it’s even prettier in person. Believe you me.

*Swoon*
That’s about all I can say about this piece. Thanks for enlightening us to TMD. I will definitely be checking out her other pieces.

Ooh, I have a black dress this would go perfectly with. I’m off to check out more on her shop!

Ooohh… this necklace is so incredibly gorgeous. I just looked at her shop and was pleasantly surprised do see how reasonably priced everything is considering how beautiful it all is! I especially liked the Chandelier is Queen earrings and the turquoise necklaces.

I love this necklace! I love her wedding crasher earrings too. They would be such a nice switch from my traditional pearls, but still in classic white.
(Also – I have 49 comments with this email address and then another ~50+ with my other two addresses… just a reminder that I had replied with more than 1 address!)

*Gasp*! This is stunning. And I also have just the dress that needs this kind of prettiness.
If I don’t win this giveaway, I think “anything from the TMD shop” may need to go on my Christmas wish list…
November 13th, 2009 on 10:05 am
I’m definitely not eligible, but I didn’t want TMD to go without sweet comments just because not so many of us hit the 50 mark. All that to say: this is GORGEOUS! The vintage styling, the glass… I’m tempted to go buy myself a present. You’ve already snatched up my favorite here, but the wood pendant and the sterling & citrine pendant are also calling my name.

Oh wow, this necklace is gorgeous! I would love to have this piece in my ever-growing Etsy jewelry collection!
November 13th, 2009 on 10:32 am
The necklace is absolutely lovely. I love unique jewelry, and Tina’s whole shop is amazing! Totally random, but a lot of the colors/shapes she uses reminds me of Greece… I don’t know… it just looks like jewelry you could wear while walking down a sandy beach, with a white sundress on.
It’s beautiful! Yet another great giveaway!
November 13th, 2009 on 10:52 am
It definitely has an heirloom look. It looks like something that would be handed down by your own grandmother.
Just looking at it I’m imagining all the outfits I could wear it with.
I love, love love the raindrop pearl earrings too.
My husband asked me last night what I wanted for christmas… well I might need to send him an etsy list. I love unique jewlery.

That necklace is so beautiful! A lot of my friends are into steampunk, and I love the look of delicate antique jewelry. I have some of my great grandmother’s, and it’s all so dainty and ladylike I almost can’t handle it

What a stunning piece. I don’t qualify either– but Jenna, I just wanted to say this contest thing has been really neat– i think it’s a great way to reward the most active members of the That Wife community and the prizes are great. Thanks for being such an engaging blogger!
