For further information about what this is and why I’m doing it, you can read more about 10,000 Comment Thank You Giveaway Week here.
I started searching Etsy specifically for sellers offering tea towels who might be willing to participate in this giveaway and I fell in love with munaluna‘s sweet little owl tea towel handprinted with happy looking yellow and green leaves. Who wouldn’t be happy making spaghetti or tacos with that sweet owl by their side? The shop owner, Meredith, runs a blog as well where she posts all kinds of wonderful tidbits.

Don’t mind the wrinkles! I didn’t bother ironing the towel since I’d have to fold it up again when I sent it to the winner.
From the munaluna owl tea towel item description:
This tea towel will brighten up your kitchen for sure! It was hand printed on linen with my original owl design in purple, green, and yellow. The dimensions are a generous 18 x 27 inches. Use this towel to decorate your kitchen, wipe dishes, or hang as wall art!
*Color will fade slightly on first wash and will become very soft and absorbent for wiping dishes, drying your hands, etc. If you want to retain the crispness and color of the tea towel to use as a decorative piece, refrain from dumping in the washer!
For care, hand wash with light detergent and hang dry – iron if needed on cotton setting.

Can you see why I begged asked Meredith to let me give this one away? If owls aren’t your thing I think you’ll like this illi-green tea towel. Or maybe you have baby on the brain like I do and you’re drooling over this sweet little plush robot? (More buttons!)

I really like the old school 70′sish vibe of the owl towel, it reminds me of my grandma’s kitchen and making bread

Though tea towels have been around a LONG time, I seriously just discovered them a few weeks ago! What a great way to bring some character into my kitchen. So cute!

I’m afraid that my comment qualifications are slowly coming to an end and this is my last chance!
This one would be my favorite by far. The owls are so cute. I think these are cute enough to even be a theme in a baby’s room.

Oh, loving this! I am such a sucker for owl inspired motifs. I’d definitely be using this one for decorative purposes only – maybe stretched over a canvas if i can figure out how to do it without ruining the owl print…

I like the mix of the three colors, it makes it more cheerful than the owl alone.
And then I looked on her site…. Thinking about what “Tamara” said and I thought the illy motif would be great as a curtain for a baby or child room window.
