Will You Vote For Me?

Google Reader lovelies, I know there are many of you. Would you take a break from hitting next (if you didn’t know “J” is the shortcut and it really helps skip through things faster) just for today and help me out?

Friends! I wasn’t going to interrupt Giveaway Week with an off-topic post, but I need your help. You see, I entered a contest where the grand prize is $500. Cash. And all I had to do was take a picture and send it in! (Easy as pie!)

The entering part was easy, it’s the “getting votes” part that is difficult. Especially since this is one of those annoying contests that require you to register and fill things out to vote. BUT I will give you a little bit of an incentive to help me out. If I win the $500 check, I will give it to That Wife in the form of prizes and giveaways (*ahem* I’ll probably pay off my hosting fees first) which means lots of lovely Etsy treasures for you to possibly win in the future.

The contest I entered is being sponsored by the clothing website https://www.tulle4us.com/, a magical site filled with all kinds of lovely vintage inspired (inexpensive!) clothes. I bought a coat there that I suspect will work through the beginning of my pregnancy, and they emailed me to tell me about a photo contest they are sponsoring. I just had to submit a photo of myself wearing one of their garments and get the most votes, and they would send me a check.

The look on my face is a bit off, I know, but I was doing these myself with the self-timer, running back and forth trying to come up with poses that would best show off the features of the coat. I’ll show you the rest of my favorite shots later!

For now though, I need your help voting. It’s going to require some work on your part, but I hope that you will do it for me.

Step 2: Create an account (super fast, just type in your email address and password of choice)

Step 3: Sign in

Step 5: Scroll until you see my picture. Don’t get tricked and vote for the cute girl with the balloon, or the darling one with the red heart purse. I can’t share any money with That Wife if you vote for someone else.

Step 6: Vote for me by clicking on the circle ABOVE my picture. This almost confused me and cost me my own vote.  Then click on the button at the very, very bottom of the page. (Graphics weren’t loading correct for me but I assume it says either submit or vote)

Step 7: Fill in a pop up box with your name, address, email address.

Step 8: Submit, and done!
