I have a lipstuff addiction. In high school I could often be found with not 1, not 2, not 5, not 10… sometimes 15(or more!) lip products of various flavors and brands in my purse on any give day. I always have some kind of chapstick or gloss on my person, often stored in my bra, and I have several different kinds stashed in every room of the house. I wish I could say that the item I’m giving away today is my absolute favorite lip product of all time, but that would be a lie. When my family visited London in the Spring of 2003 we visited a luxury department store (Harrods for those who know their shopping) and I went all kinds of crazy and bought over $100 worth of Prada Lip Balm. To be fair the price was in pounds, and I’ve never been very good at math, so I’m not sure I realized exactly how much I was spending. If you really want the best lip stuff ever, go with Prada.
My second favorite balm though, is still pretty dang awesome. Kiehls Lip Balm #1 in the jar. Jar, jar, jar, this is very important. Do not get confused as I have many a time and purchase it in the tube. They aren’t the same formula (well I’ve never actually researched this but after years of using both I’m convinced they aren’t) and the jar formula is better by far. The secret to getting soft and plump lips with this balm is lathering it on nice and thick right before you fall asleep. Let it sink in overnight and you’ll wake up with smackers that are flake free and incredibly kissable. Showering at night and rubbing your lips gently with a soft bristled toothbrush and then slathering this stuff on right before dozing off makes the effect twice as nice.

I, like you, have the same “problem” of always carrying too many lip products. I must ALWAYS have chapstick with me. I order all my make up from Avon. I use their Moisture Therapy lip balm. I also love their Glaze Wear lip glosses. But I also love Burt’s Bees as well.

For awhile my fav was Carmex in the squeezy tube, but since I’ve gotten a “real” job I switched to Bobbi Brown’s lip gloss in Nougat. It’s not all tacky and gross like some can be, and I think it has a nice neutral, go with anything, color to it.

I don’t know if I really have a favorite… In my purse at any given time I have: CoverGirl lip stain, Burts Bees lip balm (love the cooling menthol!), Sephora Gloss, Aveda gloss, Smith’s Minted Rose lip balm… umm that’s all I can think of off the top of my head. The real trend here is menthol! LOVE the tingly feeling on my lips!

It sounds like a lot of us have an addiction! I slather Dr. Dan’s Cortibalm on my lips mulitple times a day and can’t stop. It all started after I had severely sun burnt lips a few years back (think Angelina Jolie sized swollen lips) and my dermatologist recommended it. I would love to try something different!

I used to love the line of Clinique lipsticks – then they discontinued my favorite color OF COURSE. I’ve always been a bit leary of drugstore makeup (I’m willing to spend more money on makeup than anything else in my beauty regime) – but I just tried the Covergirl Outlast lipsticks – - they really last a LONG time!
I don’t wear lipstick that often because it would just come off in .2 seconds and I hated having to worry about reapplying-but this stuff stays on! I love wearing it because even if I’m just wearing comfy, not terribly attractive clothes, a little color on my lips makes me look like I’m making an effort.
That said – I hope I get to try this lip balm! I love lip stuff.

I love Ulta Lip Tint, it gives you just the right amount of color while mosturizing at the same time. In the winter I rely on Blistex Lip Medex at night which leaves them nice and smooth in the morning.

i love aquaphor healing ointment.
i got terrible chapped lips after i gave birth in july and this was the only thing i had handy at the time besides a+d ointment, but this works wonders! my lips were healed overnight, but then again i slathered over my lips like i was buttering a crossaint…lol.
btw, a few years ago i scored 3 boxes of prada lip balm (both regular and rose tinted) at tjmaxx for 4 dollars a box

Gosh, it’s been forever since I regularly used a lip product… and I think I need to start again because the other day before Mr. W went in for a kiss he stopped and said, “Oh, poor little lips, all flaky and chapped!” Then again, I think I can’t find my Burt’s Bees because I loaned it to him and he put it someplace strange.
Burt’s Bees lip balm is probably my favorite, but I used some of their lip shimmers as well. And more true confessions time, I have some WAY old stuff from high school in my makeup drawer that taste like pineapple and cake batter (separately, not together). Sadly, when you actually lick your lips it tastes gross, but the smell was wonderful. Too bad nobody was kissing me in high school.

Ooh this is a tough question. I am an avid user of Chapstick b/c it’s affordable but don’t love it as much as the Kinerase Lip plumper which leaves my lips soft. My favorite ever lip color/gloss is MAC Lip Glass. It is a little sticky but I looove the colors and how long it lasts. Perfect!

I don’t even wear bikinis! I could not live without Vaseline. I feel seriously uncool whenever someone asks to borrow chapstick from me, but the product is perfect– cheap and effective.
I have a tendency to pick lip gloss (and nail polish!) colours for their names rather than shades, which is funny because my all-time favourite lip gloss–with a minty tingle similar to Burt’s Bees and the ability to make lips look AMAZING– has a name that isn’t anything special: Origins Liquid Lip Shimmer in Pink Bikini.

My dermatologist got me hooked on Eucerin’s Aquaphor Healing Ointment for my lips. I haven’t used anything else in years and love that it doesn’t have petroleum jelly in it like other products which just seem to dry my lips out and make them flaky.

My favorite is the good old Burts Bees – Replentishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. Working in a hospital with all that dry air (and sometimes no chance for even a drink of water) my lips end up looking like asphalt in winter! The balm helps, most of the time, but sometimes my lips are just way too chapped. I might have to invest in the Kiehls anyway!

i used to like carmex as well, but now I used peter island lip balm, but I am open to try something new! I must have lip balm everywhere i go.

My current fave is CoverGirl ShineBlast. A $6 cheapie that exceeds expectations. So unlike the two latest verrry expensive ones I bought which suck rocks: Nars Lip Gloss and Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Treatment. Terrible!

I’m a Burts Bees kinda girl unless I want some color/gloss then I go with MACs Pedal Pusher which is a shimmery pale pink that they discontinued. Luckily I stocked up!

I love the regular burt’s bees chap stick. not the honey or the shimmer or the lifeguard versions, just the lovely original one- it doesn’t ever feel cakey on your lips

Soft Lips in cherry flavor!! I love it. I have always loved lipstick but it never looks good on me.
Just a swipe of Soft Lips and my lips feel soft, taste yummy, and my natural color comes through beautifully!

i also always have lip gloss on me…sad are the days when i realize i’ve left mine in a pocket somewhere and don’t have it! and my favorite is strawberry chapstick–it tastes good, is cheap, and stays on a long time!

The coolest lip product I’ve ever own (and have been addicted to since I bought my first one) is Gosh Light ‘N Shine Lip Glaze. It’s SO cute! It has little LED lights inside the cap and a mirror on the side of it so that you can reapply anywhere, anytime no matter the lighting conditions.

My old stand by is softlips. Love it. Also love the fact whenever I am with my brother and without I know he’ll be able to hook me up! (Carmex in a tube is also great – especially if my lips are in REALLY bad shape!)
If I want a little color I go with the COBigelow tubes found at Bath & Body works. Can’t beat the price to have multiple tints. They also have a great lip buffer!
What really cracks me up is that my hubby loves chapstick – but refuses to use anything that makes his lips the least bit shiny. Anytime he wants to borrow some he says ‘Is this shiny?’ He’ll put it on and then check the mirror to make sure. What a dork

Definitely smith’s rosebud salve – great for lips, cuticles, and, a secret, put a little of it on spots that new shoes are starting to rub to prevent blisters.So multi use! but its great on lips, I once had chapped lips that would not end, and it finally solved the problem

I actually love Mary Kay’s Satin Lip set – it has this mask thingy that scrubs away dead skin and then a moisturizer lip balm that makes my lips smooth and shiny! I’m always embarrassed to admit that, for some reason…

When I was on Accutane awhile ago for my skin, I lived and died for Aquaphor. I had about six tubes of it stashed around the house, at work and in various purses. I still really like it for intense dry lips!

I love Carmex, Sephora lip balm in the little pot (works really well to keep lips soft), and C.O. Bigelow – but my favorite, favorite lip product is Nars lip gloss in Chihuahua, Orgasm, or Greek Holiday. Kind of sticky but it works sooo well to moisturize lips!

It’s kind of child-like, but I’ve always loved the kiddie Lip Smackers in all kinds of delicious flavors! I would get probably 25 tubes for Christmas in my stocking when I was in middle school & high school. Loved it!

I love the Covergirl 2 in one (color on one side that dries, then clear lip gloss over). The color I use gives just enough extra color and it stays on all day.

I am also completely guilty of a lip stuff addiction. My present fave is Alba passion fruit nectar lip balm. Smells yummy and works great. For a splurge though I think you really can’t beat Chanel lipstick. I wear a sheer magenta one all the time. It feels so nice on.

The best lip product is sugar mixed with honey and olive oil. I rub it all over my lips in the winter and they turn soft and sweet!

I’m just like that – I’m always trying new lip stuff and there are tons of tubes of who knows what sitting at the bottom of my purse. I do the whole buy something and use it 3 times before trying something else.
I guess my favorite right now is Korres Cherry Oil lip gloss! It’s pretty good. I also really like Chinique’s All About Lips, but only the original and not the tinted.

Not the most glamorous product, but lanolin — the same stuff you’ll purchase to ease breastfeeding — makes a wonderful lip balm. It’s all-natural (natural enough to let newborns basically eat it!), thick enough to last longer than most balms, calming/moisturizing, and cheap-cheap-cheap!

I LOVE Aquaphor. I know its sold at drug stores, etc. But I’ve recently switched from Alba to Aquaphor and my lips look and feel better than ever.
I bite my lips out of a nervous habit and it completely heals it!
I’ve heard La Mer chapstick is amazing, but it’s too expensive for me to try ($50).

I love the pretty lip glosses from Bath and Body Works. They are so soothing to unhappy winter lips and provide a nice hint of color. I’m also a big fan of anything from Burt’s Bees.

Although it does nothing to combat dry lips like your glorious product that you are making me want to go out and buy now even if I don’t win, I love Laura Mercier lip stain. I have the shy pink which is nice and neutral enough for my pale skin but I like that the color lasts much longer and doesn’t kiss off *too* easily.
