A few weeks ago CJane started raving about some undershirts that she really loves, but I admit I think I’ve found a seller even better than the one she is recommending! I’m not really sure how I stumbled on Getti’s Accessories but it only took me a few weeks to snatch up 10 different items from her shop. Ever since then I’ve been tugging down my shirts/dresses to show all of my LDS girlfriends how amazing her crop-tops are! I own plenty of stretchy shirts from sites like Downeast Basics that I used to use to help bring my necklines up (and they are great for tucking in to help cover your bum), but I always found myself moaning about how they were riding up and creating bunches around my middle when I wore dresses. Then I discovered tops like these from Getti’s Accessories and I’ve been raving ever since. That Husband even realized their brilliance and immediately urged me to buy several and stock up. I think he was tired of seeing me wear v-neck stretchy dresses with the neckline pinned together with a safety pin. Classy, right?
No safety pinned dresses for me now! And no bunching of any kind whether under dresses or shirts.
My favorite is the Straight Neck T-Let:

And I bought a few of the Cap Sleeve Crop Tops as well:

See how I love these tops? I’m wearing a black one under this purple dress for my maternity shoot. No way would I have been able to get away without belly bunching with a full undershirt.
The winner of this giveaway gets $20 toward any purchase from Getti’s Accessories! I certainly don’t think only LDS readers will be interested in this giveaway as in some situations, no matter your sensibilities regarding modesty, showing off your melons just isn’t going to work. Enter in the comments by telling me:
No question for this one, as I couldn’t think of anything good. Just comment below to enter!

P.S.-I forgot to mention, if you buy from Getti’s Accessories, please mention That Wife! I”m secretly hoping she’ll get enough business that she’ll be interested in doing another giveaway in the future!

am i the first commenter? wow, i guess that proves i am a nerd for your blog!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:39 pm
Wow, what a great idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:42 pm
love it! such a good idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:42 pm
Love this idea. I might buy some no matter if I win or not…but winning would be ideal:)
February 24th, 2010 on 2:43 pm
i’m loving those cap sleeve ones! awesome idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:43 pm
I’m entering my second tri this week, so these little ditty’s might be just what I need to celebrate!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:44 pm
Love that balloon picture! I want one.
February 24th, 2010 on 2:44 pm
Love these! They would be perfect for work!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:44 pm
Jenna! Those are awesome! I have spent the whole day trying to rearrange my undershirt so this is perfect timing!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:44 pm
Oh, I could so use one of these! I always have to wear a tank under my dresses, and this is an elegant solution!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:45 pm
These are super cute. Perfect to wear at work under some more revelaing sweaters!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:47 pm
Ooh, pick me! Pick me! I am pregnant and get so hot but need the extra layer. These would be the perfect solution.
)
February 24th, 2010 on 2:50 pm
I’m not preggo, nor am I LDS, but I too would like to tastefully cover up my melons without the undershirt rolling up. Anything with a v-neck or criss cross front ends up leaving me highly uncomfortable and self conscience. So sign me up!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:53 pm
Sooo I actually pinned the top of my dress together yesterday…I clearly need this in a bad way. Regardless of whether I win, I definitely need to stock up on this!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:54 pm
That picture of you is gorgeous!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:55 pm
Definitely NEED! Since my chest has gotten magically bigger since gaining weight after my wedding, my old camis just don’t seem to cover me anymore. Oops.
February 24th, 2010 on 2:56 pm
OMGoodness, these are brilliant! Why has no one thought about this solution before? I would love to buy a bunch of these for spring/summer dresses that can get a little immodest considering how well, uh, endowed I am! Thanks for sharing, even if I don’t win I’ll check her shop out!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:57 pm
These would be wonderful! I wear the same undershirt almost everyday — I most definitely need to add these to my ensemble!
February 24th, 2010 on 2:59 pm
These look great!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:03 pm
Oh, I love this! I’m not pregnant or LDS, but you’re right, this is totally useful for everyone. Nothing worse than that feeling when you realize you’ve accidentally been flashing everyone all day long because what looked fine in the mirror has ridden up/down/sideways/fallen/shrunk/loosened/whatever during the day!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:03 pm
I have a ton of long tank tops like that that I use for work. I have like 2 in each neutral color. I agree the short ones would be good for dresses.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:03 pm
These look awesome! I have a bunch of down east undershirts for lower-cut shirts, but sometimes the bunching is annoying.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:04 pm
love these! The line about the melons is fantastic – i’m so over constantly adjusting undershirts!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:05 pm
great idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:06 pm
I’ve been meaning to get something like this as I am also very pregnant!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:09 pm
What a sweet fix for sweaters that a liiiittle bit too low cut for work…
February 24th, 2010 on 3:09 pm
I have one and LOVE it, but since getting pregnant it’s too tight to comfortably wear. Bring on a new one!! They are also perfect for those in hot and humid climates that hate the feeling of an extra layer!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:10 pm
You’re a saucy little mama! That picture is so “Come hither!”
I also agree with other commenters; why has it taken so long for someone to think these up?
February 24th, 2010 on 3:11 pm
That sounds like a great idea. I also love the cami route – but my problem is that frequently the camis I find are also too low for my chest. I’m not LDS, my sense of modesty is not in line with the current “fashion” trends though which means I have several shirts that are in pinned. This higher cut looks great! I’d love to win
Also, I love your pregnancy shoot.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:11 pm
What a cool concept, especially for the summer heat when excess layering can be excruciating.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:12 pm
Those are perfect! I wear Old Navy tanks almost every day and they aren’t as modest as I would prefer and with certain outfits they need constand adjusting. This is a great idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:14 pm
this is such an insteresting idea, I’m def going to check out the site and might get one if i dont win.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:14 pm
THAT IS THE BEST IDEA EVER!!
I have several dresses that get weird shirt lines at the waist, this is such a simple solution to making v-neck dresses more modest.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:17 pm
ooo ooo ooo! I’ve wanted some of these since my mom told me about them last year! I just never got around to buying any. This would totally solve my problem! : )
February 24th, 2010 on 3:18 pm
My friend was just telling me about these! She found them in the mall and is in love with them! Seems like such a great idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:20 pm
love this concept and idea
February 24th, 2010 on 3:25 pm
I like it! I have a few shirts that dip just a little to low for wearing to work. This would be great!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:27 pm
Looks great!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:28 pm
These are awesome and would be great for court to avoid having a lot of layers under my skirt waistband.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:30 pm
Wow! I can’t wait to see the rest of your baby bump shoot!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:31 pm
I haven’t heard of shirts like these! I would definitely love to try them out.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:33 pm
Oh wow! How did I not know these existed!? They are fantastic!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:35 pm
What a fabulous idea! These would be great, especially in hot climates.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:35 pm
LOVE them!!!!! I usually wear a cami under my regular tops because I get cold easily. These crop tops would definitely work for my everyday comfort
February 24th, 2010 on 3:36 pm
brilliant!! although I am still in love with my yummie tummie tanks…. but with dresses they are totally problematic!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:43 pm
Yes please! Muchas gracias
February 24th, 2010 on 3:44 pm
What a great find!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:47 pm
oh my gosh. I love this! I have such issues when I wear dresses with the bunching of undershirts. GENIUS!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:50 pm
These look awesome! I’m not LDS but I am preggo and I think it is an all around practical idea and will fit regardless of how big my tummy gets.
Thanks!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:51 pm
These look great, thanks so much for sharing the site!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:52 pm
I’ve been wanting some of those shirts for ages!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:56 pm
Great find! I have a ton of tops that are a bit too revealing not because I’ve got much to reveal, but because I don’t and just well, can’t hold things up. These would be perfect for a few summer dresses that are totally at-home dresses because they show waaaaay to much sternum.
February 24th, 2010 on 3:57 pm
Its funny how sometimes you don’t know you need something until you find it! These are great!
February 24th, 2010 on 3:59 pm
I have been looking for something like this forever! I was so close to making my own! Great Find!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:00 pm
I’ve never seen anything like these before. Brilliant!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:00 pm
What a great find? I’ll have to check out her site. Thanks!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:00 pm
Really cool idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:01 pm
This is definitely applicable to more than LDS – those shirts would be well worn!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:04 pm
Such a good idea for women with melons!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:06 pm
Too bad we can’t all just wear those cute little flowery undershirts like when we were little girls
but this seems like the next best thing!!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:09 pm
This is great! Perfect to wear with those low-cut tops without feeling bulky.
And you look STUNNING on your maternity shot!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:10 pm
haha… these are great! I’ve been wearing a white one from target for years and swear by them! It’s awesome to add a little modesty without having to wear a full on undershirt! Love it!!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:11 pm
i can’t wait to see all of the maternity shots!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:13 pm
Cool! I had seen these before, but didn’t know they were on Etsy!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:13 pm
I think you may have just changed my life…
I’m wearing a dress similar to the purple one in the pic and have been pulling down my old navy tee under it ALL DAY.
February 24th, 2010 on 4:16 pm
um, these are awesome… my husband would probably think they look silly as he already doesn’t understand my penchant for layering (i don’t have anything to cover up, i just like to layer!) but i don’t care and would wear them proudly.
February 24th, 2010 on 4:20 pm
Oooh, I wonder if this is the solution I’ve been looking for as a breastfeeding mom… deep v-necks are awesome for easy access, but not so good for modesty when you have been, um, “augmented” by your milk supply. Cool find!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:20 pm
That’s such a great idea!
And you look beautiful in that picture!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:22 pm
I could find lots of things to layer these with! Thanks! Love the balloons in your shoot!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:27 pm
I saw this on Good Morning Utah or whatever and laughed so hard at it, but it would be nice for dresses now that you mention it.

February 24th, 2010 at 4:33 pm
You laughed at it when it was on GMU? Why? Did they make it seem ridiculous? I’ve been in love with them since I bought them. I like them under shirts too, you know we already are wearing enough layers as endowed LDS ladies. I don’t need anything else on my belly!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:28 pm
Trying to find cute and modest outfits is an everyday battle. What a great solution!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:34 pm
Yay, what a great product. Love the maternity shoot shot!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:35 pm
pick me! pick me! i’m wearing body suits that ride up my rear! these are MUCH better.
February 24th, 2010 on 4:41 pm
Brilliant idea! Covers up without adding more layers to the belly. I like adding a cami under shirts at work, to avoid the lean-over flashing, but don’t like that the rest of my shirt catches on it.
February 24th, 2010 on 4:41 pm
These are awesome. I’m pregnant and big on top to start and nothing seems to cover the girls and not ride up.
February 24th, 2010 on 4:42 pm
Oh, perfect! What a great idea! I’m gonna have to check this out. I ALWAYS have the bunching problem!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:42 pm
That’s awesome! I have something similar to this that I got from American Eagle a year or so ago and I wear it ALL the time! I’d love to have more!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:50 pm
I love this concept! Great idea to wear underneath tops
February 24th, 2010 on 4:51 pm
I read your blog every few days and I think its super nice that you are “giving back” to your readers!
February 24th, 2010 on 4:57 pm
THIS is one I would kill to win (you know, maybe an ant or something. I wouldn’t kill anything BIG).
February 24th, 2010 on 5:01 pm
This is genius! I’d love one (or four) of these!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:12 pm
Ok I have seriously wanted these for some time now. I know getti and would love to support her too. I am not sure why I haven’t gotten any yet…lazy I guess, but I would love to win a gift card to get me started. and then once I have bought a couple maybe it will get me to go back for more. I have that same bunching problem with undershirts and it drives me NUTSOS!!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:20 pm
How awesome! I’m frustrated sometimes under dresses when I can see the hemline of my undershirt (depending on the material of the dress) and this seems like it would hide better!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:21 pm
I love your giveaways!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:22 pm
I love the idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:25 pm
I love these- they would be so helpful! Since I definitely don’t have the tight abs thing going on, I have the same creeping up problem with with most tanks as you do. Therefore, I am NOT fond of layering! But I think think these would be great- particularly because so many plus-size tops, in trying to accent the upper assets (of which I have next to none. Yes, I’m a pear-shaped plus size in a world where plus-size girls are supposed be quite voluptuous- another bone I have to pick with makers of plus-size clothing.), are too low for my modesty comfort.
February 24th, 2010 on 5:29 pm
I wear spandexy tanks under ALL my clothes. these look great!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:31 pm
Love these!

February 24th, 2010 on 5:36 pm
LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea. I’m not LDS but I try to be modest in my clothing and it is a pain in the butt!! I’ve got a fairly substantial chest; I went from a large B to a small D while on birth control and after gaining weight. And I’m very short in the torso so my boobs are always trying to be all cleavagey, and I’m so not into that.
I totally want to win. Seriously. I have an incredibly cute dress I can’t figure out how to wear because tanks are too bunch under it; this would be perfect!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:38 pm
This is fabulous! How come I’ve never heard of these before?
February 24th, 2010 on 5:43 pm
Oh yes please! this is something I’ve been needing for a while now and I haven’t known where to find it!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:52 pm
These are amazing!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:54 pm
I really can’t believe you are due in about two months—I remember when Weddingbee announced that you would be blogging!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:54 pm
Super cool find — thanks for sharing thi with us
February 24th, 2010 on 5:55 pm
Cool beans!
I just hope they have ones for those of us more ‘well endowed’. Thanks!!
February 24th, 2010 on 5:58 pm
Loving the balloon picture – you’re too cute!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:02 pm
I love them! I always wear an undershirt and I hate having to tuck them in.
February 24th, 2010 on 6:03 pm
I hate the undershirt bunching. Perfect solution!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:04 pm
What a great idea! I love it!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:28 pm
I would LOVE to win this! I wear a camisole under almost every shirt of mine, and they’re such a pain sometimes!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:30 pm
Great idea! Thanks!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:33 pm
I agree with several of the other comments… I’m probably going to buy some of these whether I win or not! Being top heavy has it’s perks, but it’s definitely hard to look uber conservative when it’s called for.
Thanks for the link!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:35 pm
I just recently saw something like this on another LDS girl’s blog. They look great to me!
February 24th, 2010 on 6:48 pm
I wear tank tops all the time under my sweaters, and I hate the bunching-these are genius!
February 24th, 2010 on 7:04 pm
Nice! I would love a way to cover up my, ahem, ample cleavage.
February 24th, 2010 on 7:30 pm
oooooo! perfect for converting my shirts and dresses into work appropriate items!
February 24th, 2010 on 7:32 pm
I know I’ll be needing some of these soon. I’ll be buying them for sure (whether I win or not!)
February 24th, 2010 on 7:40 pm
That’s genius! I can’t stand low cut shirts and always forget how annoyed I get til the first time I wear something. In a couple months when I’m carrying around a baby it’ll be even harder to keep my neckline in place!
February 24th, 2010 on 7:54 pm
These are such a great idea! I might have to go get a few…
February 24th, 2010 on 8:00 pm
Very cool! I heart your blog, Jenna!
February 24th, 2010 on 8:04 pm
Genius shirt!
February 24th, 2010 on 8:13 pm
Yippee! Love this idea.
February 24th, 2010 on 8:15 pm
Thanks, I really like this, and am so glad they go up to 2x. It seems like a lot of the maternity shirts and dresses I have are very low cut, and these would be so much nicer under them than the tank tops and full-length camisoles I’ve been wearing.
February 24th, 2010 on 8:21 pm
Wow! These are a great idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 8:37 pm
All I have to say is I want that girl’s abs
PS. LOVE the photo of you. Perfect expression and love where the sun is at.
February 24th, 2010 on 8:41 pm
Love it! I could totally use some of these to wear under dresses at school, since I teach 3 year olds and probably shouldn’t be flashing them or their parents
February 24th, 2010 on 8:46 pm
I’ve missed the other giveaways until today because I live on the East Coast and I read your blog when I get up in the morning – too late to enter… I’m so glad I remembered to check tonight!
February 24th, 2010 on 8:55 pm
Love them! How cool!
February 24th, 2010 on 8:56 pm
love it!
February 24th, 2010 on 8:57 pm
I am LOLing at “melons.” Yes, I am mature. Thanks for sharing this with us!
February 24th, 2010 on 9:04 pm
how smart are those! i would love a few
February 24th, 2010 on 9:11 pm
Very cute! I actually just cut the bottom off of some of my old tanks so they are the same style!
February 24th, 2010 on 9:23 pm
This is exactly what I’ve been needing. I’m so over joyed with this giveaway – crossing my fingers.
February 24th, 2010 on 9:59 pm
I love the balloons!
February 24th, 2010 on 10:00 pm
These are so awesome! What a great idea!
February 24th, 2010 on 10:21 pm
I wear tank tops under EVERYTHING!!!
February 24th, 2010 on 10:24 pm
I have never seen something like this– so cool! It would definitely solve some problems!
February 24th, 2010 on 10:25 pm
Yes please!
February 24th, 2010 on 10:51 pm
Oh wow, I really should buy some of those as I just posted about modesty on my blog and therefore will never be able to get away with being immodest again. I too have a few downeast basic & layers shirts, but they do bunch under dresses!
February 24th, 2010 on 10:56 pm
Oooh, like these! I sometimes need to selectively keep my neckline up for work, but I like having pieces that function for both work and some social events, so these would be so useful. How do they work over a bra?
February 24th, 2010 on 11:08 pm
how clever is this?? i had no idea it was out there! it’d be a great fix for all those tops that look unflattering with a full length undershirt.
February 24th, 2010 on 11:29 pm
Great idea! Also looking forward to more of the maternity shoot pictures!
February 24th, 2010 on 11:46 pm
Awesome find, these would be awesome!
