The setup for this shoot was surprisingly difficult for me (those are my hands holding him up). I knelt behind a beanbag and held him over it, while a black cloth was draped over my body and face. It was hot and one of my least favorite things is most certainly breathing recycled air, but all worth the effort in the end, don’t you think?
P.S.-Cloth diapering mamas, don’t you love that little g on his diaper?

It looks like one of the Anne Geddes. Definitely worth the trouble.

I can’t type today, I meant Anne Geddes photos of course.
Definitely one of my favourite to this date.

It’s a beautiful photo! Wow – Kelli is amazing. And could she have had a more precious model?

Hello! I’m delurking! I found your blog through Caitlin over at Healthy Tipping Point, and I’m totally hooked!
T1 is beautiful and I”m so interested to hear about your thoughts and experiences with cloth diapering. My husband and I aren’t TTC, but we probably will be in the next 2-3 years. I’m trying to glean as much info about everything as possible.

He is one of the most beautiful babies I’ve ever seen! We had some tricky shots too, but I wasn’t involved with them
I also love C’s diaper shots, cds are too cute.

That saying always makes me smile. I like to say “my ovaries are lit up like Christmas trees” or, “my fallopian tubes are going off like pinball machines/rocket launchers”

Usually they tingle, but after too many viewing of “A Baby Story” and all of your cute pictures, the feeling is a little more intense. I like yours too though, my husband will get a kick out of me mixing it up every now and then.

That is rad. Sometimes these shots can be cheesy, but this one is totally dairy free. I like how this looks like he’s being offered out of the depths of somewhere mysterious and other, and now he’s here to experience life with all of us in the world

Maybe this was intentional, but the g on your sweet babe’s gDiaper should be on his hiney, not his front.
Great photo – worth the trouble!!

Haha, I do know that is how they are meant to be worn, but it’s easier flipping the tabs on his diaper forward instead of back, and since he isn’t old enough to grasp at them and undo them I figure it should be an issue right now

Oh, this photo is not good for me right now. Oh my goodness! I want new one! They are just so precious and sweet and clean when they’re so tiny and new. And the smell! Oh, I can’t just smell him through my screen.
