I know you said this daily picture thing is a limited-time engagement. Um, could it be daily forever? I love seeing them! You both look fantastic.
And I know you’re busy and all but just wanted to throw it out there that I am anxiously awaiting details regarding the birth and your recovery. As someone about to start TTC, I can’t get enough of that. But no pressure.

Sigh. I love love love that picture too! It was such a blessing he went from crying to sleeping in one minute, and then stayed that way for 15 seconds. 15 seconds! I just checked the meta data. Good boy for looking sweet and peaceful for your mama.

Great picture!!!
Also…….I watched part of a documentary in my “developmental psych” class that I wanted to highly recommend. It was on PBS and is called “Raising Cain”. (they carry it at the library & amazon) It is all about boys and raising boys. I only watched the 1st 30min but it was REALLY good. One thing I liked was when they showed how japanese preschools deal with boys and aggression. I found it really interesting. I came home and right away told my SIL to run out and get it. (she has 2 sons) I think as a new mother of a boy, you would find it really interesting.

T1 is such a cutie, but can I say (without being weird or nitpicky) that your face looks so skinny?? You’ve definitely lost some of the puffiness you had when you were about to burst. I hope that doesn’t sound mean, I still think you’re an incredibly beautiful woman, but that’s what I always fear/notice when I think of pregnancy. I don’t want a moonface!
Anyways. You look great and in love and beautiful.

I totally noticed the same thing as well, it’s amazing how much pregnant women “deflate” all over after giving birth. Every woman I’ve known has gotten the round face in the last few weeks, and ever single one lost in within a few weeks after giving birth. Pregnancy is a funny thing.

Yes, I am fine, just a UTI. Apparently UTI are commonly caused by e. coli in the bladder? Never would have known! My doctor friends tell me it’s totally different than the scary e.coli you hear about on the news.
