I love recycled fashion! I love knowing that something I’m wearing is getting another go at “life”.. and if threads could talk, it would have quite the story to tell. Here’s a work outfit that I found on a recent trip to the Goodwill.
All items from the Goodwill, except jewelry.
Banana Republic cuffed trousers (petite = no hem!) – $6.49
Ann Taylor blouse – $1.99 (originally $3.99 but the Goodwill was having a sale)
vintage Christian Dior cropped blazer – $5.49
Banana Republic flats – $8.00
Tiffany & Co. necklace – a finishers medal from running the Nike Women’s Marathon in SF = a lot of pain, but totally free.
Total Cost of Outfit? $21.97

I can’t believe she got all of this from Goodwill and for a total of ~$22! Way to go, C! Love the outfit.

Believe it or not, it was a combination of the GW in Tujunga and Sierra Madre. But the one in Hollywood isn’t bad either! It’s so much fun to sift through the racks on a lazy weekend day.

Thanks for posting this!
The best part about this outfit is that these trousers were popular at BR, so a lot of my coworkers happen to have them. Except I’m pretty sure I’m the only one that got them for 7 bucks.
