Texas Bee Pool Party
Right before I left I hosted a Texas Bee pool party at my apartment complex! I was so happy to have so many people agree to come. I don’t have time to comment on every photo, so those who attended can feel free to leave their thoughts below

Baby BoP and Baby Avo. T1 has such a HUGE head compared to her! They are only 5 days apart. I remember when BoP went into labor and I was so mad because she was due after me and I was so ready to have the baby out of my belly!

Hydrangea, BoP, Mouse, Avocado. TH came after we took this picture, and Fro-Yo was there as well but she wasn’t in our group shot because she was mistakenly at the wrong pool for a little while!

Baby Hydrangea is on the way.

Those swim trunks are for a 12 month old. He looks ridiculous in them.

I brought my waterproof camera down for some shots in the pool. Fro-Yo’s nieces had so much fun playing with it.

I am most definitely NOT good at being in underwater photos.

Fro-Yo is really good at it though!

Isn’t she darling?

Can you find Mr. Mouse in Mrs. Mouse’s glasses?

If any of the bees present would like a copy of the photos they are in send me an email! I’m exciting for our Chicago Bee get together this Saturday

Thanks for posting this – and for posting my first bump pic
I appreciate you hosting all of us and am sorry we didn’t stay longer – it got a little hot for me!

2How fun!! I am jealous. I lived in an apt. with a pool a few years back and did not take enough advantage, and now I wish I had one. It’s so great for babies to be in the water from a young age!

9It looks like a fun party. And I love love love underwater cameras. I have a waterproof camera (a simple point and shoot) and it’s a lot of fun. I do believe that keeping sunglasses underwater helps because then you can keep your eyes closed (I wear contacts so I never open them)and you can still look cute.

10I don’t have much to say… just that gave me a big smile
Very summery and happy and just…

11Aw, what an awesome party. And how handsome is T1 in his little swim trunks?

12Do non-bee people ever get invited to your parties? I always feel like I know all of you so well since I’ve been following weddingbee for 2 years. But yet, I would only ever be invited to the generic bee get-togethers, which never happen in my part of the country. I want to be part of the ‘bee! I applied three times and was always rejected. Now it’s too late since I’m already married. But I always feel like you ladies are the cool girls and I’m back in h.s. and I am left out!

Ooops! I just realized this didn’t post as a reply the way I wanted it to.
It depends. If everyone was like me, they would be a big free for all because I’m really extroverted and open at my life. Others though, aren’t comfortable having people they don’t “know” hearing the names of their kids, what neighborhoods they live in, or sometime
Es even their real names. I promise we aren’t trying to be exclusive or clique-y, we just have to plan things based on the preferences of the most private person who will be attending.
I have seen meetups with both readers and writer (Hydrangea and I tried to organize one last year and only one person came!) and those are usually organized when someone starts a thread on the Dallas area board. You could try that and see if you can get the ball rolling on something!

18I would love an underwater camera- what is the cheapest, “just for fun” model you can buy? I remember when the disposable underwater cameras came out, my girlfriends and I used up *so* many of those in the summer.

19Oh my goodness – so so cute! I love T1′s little swim trunks (erm…BIG swim trunks)! Looks like you all had a lovely time!!!!

20You got in the water with your 5D? You got -near- the pool with your 5D?! I’m way too paranoid about folks splashing to even take my silly Rebel into a pool enclosure.
