You know what would be a really interesting stat to find out? Sexual orientation. Maybe you left this out on purpose or just didn’t think of it (it’s not something I would automatically think of, either), but I think it would be interesting to know if you have any LGBT readers.

I’m really surprised that the majority of your readers (or at least active enough to vote) are democrats! I guess that makes sense with some of the rather passionate discussions.
I answered all of the questions except for the location, because I’m not sure what to call DC. Normally I’d go for Mid-Atlantic. Which would you call it?

Yeah I definitely failed in that area! I can’t decide if I should have done north/south/east/west or have added many more categories. Next year I think I’ll do this survey again and I’ll be able to make the questions much better.

My three faves (not counting That Wife!) are Peach and Pearl (www.peach-pearl.blogspot.com), Hyperbole and a Half, and the NPR Monkey See Blog (www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee).
Especially with you in Chicago, a Midwest option would have been a good idea…we up here in the frozen Minnesota tundra don’t really think of ourselves as central US!
