I don’t just go around meeting up with girls from Weddingbee. Really! This past month though has been the time to do so with all of my travels. This round was with the Chicago bees at Cesars, and I adored each and every one of the girls that came. Sounds like we’re going to try to make an effort to get together every few months, and I’m already looking forward to the next one!

Powderpuff

Meatball

T1 was passed around from person to person and didn’t seem to mind the attention one bit.

From left to right, MaPo (Meatballs friend and an honorary attendee at the bee get togethers), Quiche, and Emerald.

Emerald laughs in this really cute, prim-and-proper way.

Doing the old man face for the ladies. (And that’s Stiletto in the background)

Seashell

The whole crew! THanks to MaPo for taking the picture.

A brief aside: I handed MaPo the camera with the camera set to AV mode and this is what the camera thought the exposure should be. This is why I shoot in RAW, because I was able to bring down the crazy exposure so it looks like the photo above instead!

I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving without asking Powderpuff to pose for me. The hat, the striped shirt, the messenger bag… I’m going to have to take style pointers from this girl!

I’m glad you called it his old man face! I remember one of the pictures you showed us from the pool party back in Dallas and thinking “he really looks like an old toothless man in this picture” and even though all babies kind of look like old men, T1 really nails the look!

I love T1s meetup outfit. Those leg warmers look familiar!
I can’t wait to get engaged (the boyfriend already bought the ring and I’m just waiting for it to be official) so I can apply to be a bee!!

That’s really interesting about the picture and shooting in RAW. I really need to invest into a class or something to learn more about my DSLR. I have had it for three years now and I still shoot in Auto for really important occasions because I’m afraid I’ll miss a moment fiddling with the settings. And I never remember the tips about exposure and stuff. Tips!?

Practice on stationary objects at home. That’s how I learned.

Me too! I always feel super goofy and way self conscious in hats, or big scarves, and there is no way I could get away with the “huge vintage flower on the side of my head” look that’s so popular right now! I think you just have to have the right attitude, of “you know what? I look AWESOME.” But I certainly don’t feel that way in hats, so I’m back to square one

Jenna all I could think was how awesome that dress is! Purple is my favorite color and a dress on top of it? You look great.
