I’ve been meaning to post about the Miracle Blanket for months, I really have. You’ve seen T1 wrapped up in it before, in my Day in the Life post (now that I’m finally unpacked and somewhat decorated I’m ready to do another DITL post so you can see how much easier it is now!), and I put it near the top of my very short list of items I consider essential when you have a baby. We own not one, but two, because we don’t want to get caught with one in the wash. That happened once, and That Husband acted like his world was ending. He calls it the miraculous blanket.
It will seem confusing at first when you take it out of the package, but it’s really simple to use. Lay baby down in the middle, wrap the “arms” of the blanket around several times, and *presto*, baby burrito! I’ve read that swaddling works so well because newborns like the tight feeling which reminds them of floating around in the super cramped womb. My mom wasn’t a fan of the Miracle Blanket (I think she thought it was too tight) so she bought us a Kiddopotamus from Babies R’ Us. We really disliked the Kiddopotamus (hereafter known as Kid) and only used it that one time when both of our Miracle Blankets somehow ended up in the wash at the same time. The velcro on the kid was constantly coming undone, and we didn’t feel like we could get him tight enough. We used the miraculous blanket for about 3 months, and we knew it was time to stop when T1 was suddenly strong enough to wiggle his arms up and out of it no matter how tight we wrapped it. Along with the Puj tub, this is a product we will certainly be breaking out for baby #2.
Why post about it now, 3 months after we stopped using it? I received an email from Susan Calloway, VP of Marketing for Miracle Blanket, asking me if I would be interested in giving away one of their blankets. Bloggers who have the amount of traffic I do get all sorts of giveaway offers, and I turn most of them down because I’m not interested in products I don’t believe in. I didn’t have to say no to this offer though because this is a product I happily payed for (twice!), and planned to give away as a gift to friends in the future. Kelli Nicole has one too, she uses it for all of her newborn photography shoots!
Susan sent me this photo, which better illustrates how the blanket works than my own picture. That strip of fabric (I call it the arm) wraps around baby several times to form a tight little cocoon s/he can nestle down into. Just like being safe in mommy’s tummy!
The contest will run through 11:59 pm CST Monday, November 8th. You can enter in the comment section by telling me what you think about swaddling. Like it? Think it doesn’t make a difference? For some reason believe it’s bad for baby? Plan to do it with your own future baby? TH will pick a number and that will determine the winner.
The most important part of this contest is that you follow Miracle Blanket on Twitter and/or become a fan on Facebook. The winner will only be announced in those locations, and you must contact them within 24 hours to redeem your prize. If you’re not following them on Twitter and Facebook you won’t know that you won! (I actually really like the way they are doing this contest, do you?)
*I forgot to note, open to US and Canada only.

We are working on making a baby and I can’t wait to swaddle them up into a cute little baby burrito! When we babysat for our nephew, we always swaddled him and the tighter the better. Like you mentioned, it brings them comfort and makes them feel safe. Love this and whether I win or not, can’t wait to add to our registry one day soon!
PS: Monday, is actually November 8, not the 6th. Just wanted to mention to avoid any confusion for contest deadlines!
November 5th, 2010 on 8:40 am
I definitely have swaddling plans in our future – and I really appreciate the product advice whether I win or not!
November 5th, 2010 on 8:49 am
We are expecting our first baby this spring. I’ve already started scouring the internet for baby must haves! I’ve heard great things about swaddling. Thanks for the give away!!
November 5th, 2010 on 8:52 am
We’re getting close to our LO making her first appearance (only ~6 weeks left!) and we registered for The Miracle Blanket after hearing such great things about it on several of the blogs I read. We plan on swaddling, but we’re also afraid that she’s not going to like it. She always seems to be at her fetal craziest when I have my belly all scrunched up or when something is pulled tight against my belly (she’s even taking to kicking down the band on my jeans!).

My son loves a good swaddle. In fact, he just slept 7 hours straight at 7 weeks old in a swaddle! This is a first for him
swaddling seems to help most with the startle reflex (Moro reflex) that babies have, or really any kind of involuntary arm movements they have that often wake them up.
I’d love to try the Miracle Blanket!

So, my phone confused me. Not sure what happened.
Shannon – my son was the same way and battled anything that was slightly constricting before he was born. Now that he’s here, he does really well being swaddled.

Looks like a great tool to have in the baby arsenal.
Count me in!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:11 am
I think that swaddling is a great idea and especially with the whole ‘back is best’, it gives kids more of a sense of comfort. My MIL kept on insisting that I needed to let my son sleep face down in case he startled himself, he had the bed to hug and comfort himself. I found that swaddling did the same thing when he was on his back and since sleeping on the back is the preferred method of these times, it’s what I’ll stick with. We had just used a typical blanket (the Kiddopotamous one had velcro that my son would bust out of) but wish that we saw this!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:19 am
I definitely plan on swaddling our baby! There are so many options out there and I really only knew about the Kiddopotamuous. It’s nice to hear about another option!!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:19 am
LOVE this blanket! It’s actually in the newborn post from yesterday (the Christmas picture) and I always use it if the baby I’m photographing gets fussy. Often, they IMMEDIATELY calm down, even if their parents think they don’t like to be swaddled (I’m guessing they use blankets that the baby busts out of). I still remember the first time I swaddled T1 with it and TH was concerned that he couldn’t breathe
.
November 5th, 2010 on 9:21 am
We are expecting our first child in about 8 weeks and I definitely plan to swaddle. My mom would say you can swaddle with any blanket (and in fact taught me how on my dolls as a little girl) but this product looks like it would work much better and be easier on my husband. Thanks for the advice!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:32 am
I’d love to win this for my sister!!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:37 am
I love hearing reviews about products that bloggers really love. What a great giveaway. I will definitely be swaddling my future baby (if he/she likes it)… I think it can do wonders for their sense of security and comfort!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:39 am
I plan to swaddle (when we have a baby, that is) because I’ve heard from other moms that it helps with the bedtime routine even after month 3!
Thanks for only featuring products that you truly love and have had success with!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:41 am
I think it’s a great idea, and I would love to give this to my best friend who’s having a baby in December. I won’t be having kids for 2-3 more years, but I am definitely going to get one of these!!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:46 am
I would love one of these for our next baby. Eli was able to get himself out of our swaddles (from normal blankets and the one from babies r us that we considered completely useless) by day 5 or 6 so we didn’t end up swaddling him. If we had one of these I know we would have done it longer and it would have been beneficial!!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:56 am
I would love to win this for my sister! She definitely plans to swaddle when her baby comes at the end of this month.
November 5th, 2010 on 10:02 am
I LOVED swaddeling my son. It was the only way he slept soundly. The problem was making it tight enough. I haven’t heard of these before so I would love to try it!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:05 am
We had the opposite experience of you, Claire slept amazing without being swaddled until around 3 months. Then she was swaddled (in the miracle blanket) from 3 mo to 9 mo. She suddenly needed it, and her arms would just wave around crazy and she couldn’t calm down without it. She’d scratch her face and wake up more often without it, I LOVE the miracle blanket!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:06 am
Oh my goodness, I love swaddling! I was so happy happy when my baby boy loved it as much as I do. He was swaddled willing until he was over one! I used to joke that he wouldn’t be able to go to sleepovers because the other parents wouldn’t know how to swaddle him. I miss the days of swaddling him. But look forward to the swaddling days again, once we are ready for number two.
November 5th, 2010 on 10:07 am
We are expecting in April and I definitely want to swaddle our new little girl! Am going to become a facebook fan immediately! Thanks for the tip!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:25 am
I’m planning on swaddling — we’re due in January!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:32 am
Definitely planning on swaddling! It has worked so well with my nieces and nephews! We are due in April!!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:44 am
It is funny because we LOVED our Swaddleme from Kiddopotamus which my mother in law bought us secondhand but sold our miracle blanket on craigslist after only using it a couple of times. For us the Kiddopotamus was easier to put the baby into when he was asleep or sleeping than the miracle blanket which required wrapping it completing around his back. I guess it just depends on how baby sleeps.
November 5th, 2010 on 10:49 am
Thanks for the giveaway! I think swaddling is great (from what I’ve heard) and plan to use this or a similar blanket with future kids.
November 5th, 2010 on 10:51 am
I’m 16 weeks pregnant, and definitely planning on swaddling. I have some lovely muslin swaddling blankets, but this looks so much easier to use!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:55 am
Ella is just starting to grow out of swaddling but it has been a lifesaver.
November 5th, 2010 on 10:56 am
I most definitely plan to swaddle my future children. I’d love to gift this to my brother and sister-in-law who are expecting their 1st baby on Valentine’s Day! Or, perhaps, keep it for photography sessions like Kelli Nicole does!
November 5th, 2010 on 10:58 am
My nephew hated to be swaddled as a newborn but absolutely loved it from 3-9 months.
November 5th, 2010 on 11:01 am
I’m a huge fan of swaddling. I don’t have any babies of my own yet, but I have 2 nieces that I’m very close with, and both of them loved to be wrapped up tightly when they were newborns. I think that if it makes them feel safer and avoids that jerk reflex thing, then it’s totally worth it. Only, I never knew how to do it with a regular blanket, even though the nurse showed me several times at the hospital. Which is why I need this!
November 5th, 2010 on 11:31 am
Both of my children loved to be swaddled for their first month. We were gifted a Kiddopotamus and weren’t a fan either. I would definitely gift this to my sister-in-law who just found out that she is having TWINS! I’ll have to go buy another one though since she’ll need two!
November 5th, 2010 on 11:41 am
What a cute baby burrito
Wow, babies are OK having their arms pinned down like that? I thought the blanket would just wrap tightly around the baby several times, over their arms. I have a lot to learn about babies, hehe
November 5th, 2010 on 11:44 am
I’m pregnant with my first child, due in April, and have every intent on swaddling. I swaddled my best friend’s son while I acted as temporary nanny, and it worked wonders. Calmed him down instantly, unless he was really in a mood.
November 5th, 2010 on 11:47 am
We are trying for our first and I definitely intend to swaddle our future babies. This would also make a great gift for my best friend who is due in April!
November 5th, 2010 on 12:06 pm
I plan to give swaddling a try! I hope, if I win, that I can respond within 24 hours…because baby is due any day now!
November 5th, 2010 on 12:23 pm
I don’t have my own baby yet, but I’ve done my pre-baby research and really thing that swaddling helps.
November 5th, 2010 on 12:34 pm
I think swaddling is fantastic! I don’t have my own baby yet but my sister did it with both of my neices and they were both really good sleepers. I will definitely be swaddling my little ones.
November 5th, 2010 on 12:40 pm
I will def. Be wrapping up my little one. When I watch my friend 4 month old I always swaddle nice and tight. Snug as a bug in a rug.
November 5th, 2010 on 1:06 pm
Swaddling seems like a great idea to me, as little as I know about babies. If I won this one, I’d gift it to my best friend who’s expecting a little one soon – I’m sure they’d love it!
November 5th, 2010 on 1:12 pm
We’re due 4/21/11 and plan on swaddling our little one
This blanket looks perfect and if I don’t win, I’m still adding it to my registry!
November 5th, 2010 on 1:12 pm
I nanny for two little boys and we used the Miracle Blanket with the littlest guy – it was such a lifesaver for naps. I loved that it wasn’t too thick of material but it also kept him plenty warm in the colder months.
November 5th, 2010 on 1:20 pm
I’ve heard great things about the Miracle Blanket! We’ve registered for two already for our baby that is due in January
November 5th, 2010 on 1:51 pm
I absolutely think swaddling helps calm a baby. Plus, they always look so cute all bundled up.
November 5th, 2010 on 2:09 pm
I will definately be swaddling when the baby is here, hope I win
November 5th, 2010 on 2:33 pm
I am all for swaddling! Julia swaddled Claire for a few months as well, it always helped make her sleep SO much better! It’s a wonderful thing!!
November 5th, 2010 on 2:37 pm
Swaddeling can actually be dangerous. I work in a daycare centre (in Europe) and we are not allowed to swaddle babies, because babies have died as a result of swaddeling. If you swaddle too tight, you can cut of circulation and if you swaddle too loose, the baby can get caught in the fabric and sufficate. I’m sorry for the negative note here, but please be careful!
Jackie Reply:
November 5th, 2010 at 2:48 pm
I definitely agree. It’s illegal, to do in daycares in the US (at least in Washington).
If you swaddle, please research about it. Just as you wouldn’t put a blanket with a newborn in a crib, be careful with your use of swaddling wraps.
Definitely never swaddle infants that can roll over, lest they flip on their stomachs and can’t move back.
I’m not saying swaddling is bad, but it can be dangerous. The principle works – when I would rock babies to sleep in a day care, I’d keep there arms close to me so they couldn’t flail to keep themselves awake. Same general.
Just please do your research!
November 5th, 2010 on 2:39 pm
Swaddling correctly seems like a time-tested way to make your baby happy. I would love to try this blanket for my own baby burrito!
November 5th, 2010 on 2:42 pm
I do not have a baby BUT I am becoming an honorary aunt soon to a handful of babies that are soon to come to a few of my best girl friends. I think this would be a great gift for them.
So, I do not have any persoal experience regarding swaddling. I think that it makes sense that they would feel more safe and secure so I would for sure give it a whirl. I do love me a little baby burrito!
November 5th, 2010 on 3:03 pm
I am pregnant with my first baby and keep hearing people rave about the Miracle Blanket! It’s on my list of things to buy but I feel like it’s too early to actually order things yet! If I won one though, I could take it off my list;-)
November 5th, 2010 on 3:26 pm
Wow, the Christine above me has an eerily similar story! We are also trying for our first, and I will be swaddling. I love being swaddled myself in my comforter, I can’t imagine how cozy it is for little babies. Thanks for these baby must-have lists you make, it’s so helpful for me to know what we should get!
November 5th, 2010 on 3:55 pm
Love love love the miracle blanket, lent ours out and it got lost :/ Would love to replace it before we have another!
November 5th, 2010 on 3:56 pm
We definitely did the swaddling when my son was born. Unfortunetly, he was a little Houdini and no matter what we did he wiggled his arms out. So we improvised and started swaddling him under his arms and he was happy as can be. Wish I would have tried the Miracle Blanket though
November 5th, 2010 on 4:07 pm
Just found out I’m 7 weeks preggo (though no one knows yet, so I guess you’ll be the first.. sshhh. it’s a secret!), and from what I’ve seen with other babies, I will definitely be swaddling. What an awesome giveaway!
November 5th, 2010 on 4:22 pm
We swaddled for the first 3 months or so. I really think it helped our LO sleep longer stretches early on.
With all baby products, you have to use common sense people!!!
November 5th, 2010 on 4:29 pm
sign me up… we like swaddling, it worked wonders for Addie… but Grace HATED being swaddled. I would love this for our next one though! =)
November 5th, 2010 on 4:37 pm
I love this!!!!!!
November 5th, 2010 on 5:20 pm
I plan to swaddle my future babies. It seems like it helps them to sleep better, and I’m all for sleep!
November 5th, 2010 on 5:34 pm
I definitely believe in swaddling because my baby girl just loves it and will not sleep without it. I actually have one miracle blanket already and like you need another one just in case the other one is dirty.
November 5th, 2010 on 6:59 pm
I plan to swaddle my babe whose due to arrive in March. I’ve been researching blankets & cocoons and other sleeping wraps, but have only heard great things about the Miracle Blanket. I’d love to try this product for my first born – helping me make the transition into mommyhood!
November 5th, 2010 on 7:13 pm
Our little one is due in 5 weeks (and counting!). With it being December and cold, we totally plan on swaddling our little one up! Such a great idea!
November 5th, 2010 on 7:21 pm
I love that you’re doing giveaways for stuff that you’ve loved yourself. And I’m a huge fan of swaddling. I’m only not entering this one because I don’t have a baby to use it on.
November 5th, 2010 on 7:34 pm
Definitely a fan of swaddling! My baby is VERY wormy and will wake herself up otherwise. Following MB on FB!
November 5th, 2010 on 9:11 pm
I’m actually just commenting to just comment. Not to win the blanket.
I think things like these are a waste of money, especially with my family’s tight budget. We swaddled Bean every time she went down until about 3 1/2 months (she broke free and hated her arms being held down) and just used a nice size blanket. After about the 10th time doing it, it was simple and when we would go to baby stores and price things like these..we were much happier with our cheap blankets that did the same exact thing.
November 5th, 2010 on 9:46 pm
I love, love, love swaddling. It was an absolute must for Maddie. We had a little blanket that sounds like the “Kid” you referred to in this post and it was OK. I’d love to win this for baby #3 to come in January.
November 5th, 2010 on 10:23 pm
I am a huge advocate for swaddling! We used two blankets to create a similar idea to the miracle blanket, but I think the miracle blanket would be so much easier! I will definitely buy one when I have another baby. I swaddled during naps and overnight until my son was 8 months old and now I still swaddle him at 10 months old if I want to get a really good nap out of him.
November 5th, 2010 on 11:19 pm
I love swaddling, but it’s been to warm here to swaddle DD2.
November 6th, 2010 on 12:41 am
We are huge fans of swaddling! My daughter started sleeping through the night by 5 weeks of age because we’d only swaddle her at night, so she’d know the difference between naps and bedtime. She loved to be swaddled until 4 months of age, then she didn’t like it anymore, which was fine. We used receiving blankets but they had to be rectangular as those were the best for swaddling. To have a blanket made for swaddling would be awesome! In the hospital we watched a movie called “The Happiest Baby on the Block” and they taught a lot of different ways to soothe your baby and all of them had to do with mimicking what it was like in mama’s tummy.
Anyway, we are fans of swaddling. Excessive swaddling, or keeping the baby bound at all times is when it becomes something that is unhealthy.
November 6th, 2010 on 8:36 am
I am a huge swaddling fan. My DD had severe reflux and colic and difficulty being consoled, once we got the swaddling down she was much easier to soothe and slept so much better. She was swaddled until she could roll over actually. I plan on swaddling this baby too!
November 6th, 2010 on 9:05 am
I LOVE awaddeling babies. I think it makes them feel warm and secure like when they were in the womb. I plan to swaddle this one from the day she is born! I have tried several blankets, and the miracle is my fave.
I follow on fb and twitter
amylrobinson81 @ yahoo dot com
November 6th, 2010 on 9:45 am
The miracle blanket was our saving grace with our daughter. She wouldn’t sleep unless swaddled and she could break out of all other blankets. I plan to swaddle our son due in Feb. as well. We are big fans of swaddling!
November 6th, 2010 on 10:34 am
We’re expecting our first baby in April and I’m definitely a believer in swaddling. I think it helps keep the baby cozy and safe.
November 6th, 2010 on 11:49 am
i got one of these for my 3rd baby and i LOVED it so much i found myself lending it out to all of my friends who had a baby. it’s a bit “tired” now and i’m excited to have #4 join our family in feb. i need a new one
L.O.V.E. this blanket!! it truly is a miracle.
November 6th, 2010 on 12:38 pm
I love swaddling. It has helped me with three kids so far. I recently bought a friend a Miracle Blanket and made her promise me that she would use it and lay the baby down so that she can get some sleep. I have not owned one of my own, but borrowed a very very loved one from my neighbor.
November 6th, 2010 on 12:56 pm
My daughter still loves to be swaddled at night, and she’s 7 months old now. She doesn’t even try to get out. We use the kid now, and haven’t had any trouble with the velcro on the fleece ones (the other material doesn’t seem to work as well). I’d love to try a Miracle Blanket, especially for baby 2!
November 6th, 2010 on 1:23 pm
I 100% am a swaddler believer! My son, who is now 4 months old, was a newborn who couldn’t sleep without the “burrito wrap.” I could never get any of the swaddling contraptions to wrap tight enough. He would “Holdini” his way out of it pretty quick (his name is Holden so that is a nickname for him). I would LOVE to experiment with The Miracle Blanket for #2!!
November 6th, 2010 on 1:34 pm
We’re expecting our first baby in March and I am definitely planning on swaddling. I plan on adding one to my registry!
November 6th, 2010 on 2:51 pm
i’m expecting in may and was just surfing the web for awesome baby products when i found this giveaway. we plan to swaddle based on recommendations from friends and family!
November 6th, 2010 on 4:40 pm
I think swaddling is fantastic. We are big Miracle Blanket fans. We have 3 children and found out about the MB when our 2nd baby arrived. My daughter didn’t sleep as well as my son and the MB/swaddling was fantastic. She went from waking every 2 hours to sleeping 4-6 hour stretches! We also used the MB with our next son and it too worked wonders with him. Now we are expecting our 4th baby (another boy!) in January and would love to win a new Miracle blanket. Our ‘current’ MB is well loved & also PINK so a new boyish colored one would be just perfect! I really hope we win!
I do follow Miracle Blanket on Facebook & Twitter.
Thank you!
November 6th, 2010 on 5:33 pm
I think this would be great to have for our first little one who will be arriving in April! Thanks for the recommendation!
November 6th, 2010 on 6:37 pm
I’m a HUGE swaddle fan. I used the kidpotamus and would LOVE to try the Miracle Blanket for the next one.
November 6th, 2010 on 6:41 pm
I’m due in 3 months and we have two of these on our registry!
November 6th, 2010 on 7:30 pm
I LOVE swaddling! With my older two kiddos we swaddled them until they seemed to outgrow it. My son was swaddled for what seemed like forever, haha. I have never tried a Miracle Blanket before (didn’t hear of it until more recently) but would love to try one with baby number three due in a few months! Thanks for doing this great giveaway!
November 6th, 2010 on 8:12 pm
My sister-in-law gave me hers when I was expecting my son. We loved it! It’s a little too small now, so we have to swaddle with other blankets
I can’t wait to use it on the next baby! I don’t know when we will stop swaddling, since it still seems to keep him pretty happy at night.
November 6th, 2010 on 8:20 pm
I’m due in January and would love one of these for my little girl.
November 6th, 2010 on 10:12 pm
I’d love to try one for baby #3. I *thought* a nifty “swaddle” blanket wasn’t needed until my 2nd child came along, she could get out of even the best swaddle which was very tiring!! She is now almost 2 and just started sleeping through the night!
November 7th, 2010 on 6:39 am
I am also due in January and I know our baby will need lots of swaddling to stay warm. Can’t wait to see who wins!
November 7th, 2010 on 5:03 pm
I’m looking forward to trying swaddling with my baby, due in June. Anything that can provide a few moments of peace, right?
November 7th, 2010 on 8:47 pm
I’ve registered for THREE of these based on mommyblogger opinions alone, I too don’t want to be caught without a clean one! I’d LOVE to win this for my little cupcake due in January
November 7th, 2010 on 9:24 pm
LOVE swaddling. We use the blankets from the hospital for as long as we can. For my 1st baby I had a SwaddleMe and hated it…tried it a few times and never used it again. For my 3rd, I heard about the Miracle Blanket and decided to give it a try. LOVED it and she used it for over 4 months! I’d love to have a 2nd and brand new one for #4!
November 7th, 2010 on 9:25 pm
I replied to a comment above, but I’d also like to be considered for the blanket
Thank you!
Paula
November 7th, 2010 on 11:14 pm
i LOVE swaddling! my baby is a little houdini and would always bust out of her swaddle. it got to be so annoying because i tried a million different blankets and most of the time would have to double swaddle (either with two blankets or one blanket and the velcro kid) which took forever and wasn’t an option on warm days. and my husband couldn’t put our daughter to bed because his swaddles barely lasted two seconds. we got the miracle blanket when our kid was 9 weeks old and overnight she went from sleeping 6-8 hours (when we swaddled her with normal blankets) to 11-13 hours (when swaddled with the miracle blanket. she always busted/kicked out of the bottom part so i stopped putting her feet in the pocket. great solution since now she’s too long for it anyways! i would LOVE to have another miracle blanket for when one is in the wash.

No kids yet, but I’m pretty sure I would swaddle future children, especially after reading the comments on here!

I think I will swaddle- I am due the end of Jan and it seems like a great way to keep the baby warm and secure!

Swaddling was the only thing that would keep our son happily sleeping. I’d love another one of these!

I don’t have a personal opinion on swaddling, as I don’t have any children, but my sister is pregnant with her first and I would love for her to try it out!

I am a big swaddle fans and was really upset when my son outgrew it. My sister-in-law is pregnant and I’ve already told her about these. They make great gifts!

I have always been a fan of swaddling, but have never been good at it. I would love to win one of these, they look like they’d be easy to use once I got the hang of it. My babies have always been too big for the regular swaddling blankets

I plan on swaddling my baby (when I have one). My SIL is expecting her first child in February. I’d love to win the Miracle Blanket for her.

We only swaddled Baby T a few times when she was little, with varied results. However, we just used plain old flannel receiving blankets so they had a tendency to lose their swaddley powers after just a little bit of shifting on her part or us picking her up, etc. It’d be fun to try a better blanket on the next baby, whenever that may be! Either that, or I’ll send it to my friend who is finally expecting after 2 losses… trying to put together an awesome “welcome to motherhood” package for her.
