Marissa said she was coming in to town and we agreed to go to dinner. Then I volunteered to run the photo booth at our church valentine’s day dance, and somehow I roped her into playing nanny while I worked. Since she’s a sweetheart, she agreed. I had a lot of fun taking pictures of the families in my ward, but I won’t show them here since I’m not sure they want their photos pasted all over That Wife. :)

One fun thing to notice: look how big my pants already fit in the bum! Soon I’m going to have to go back to the thrift store and get some more. Hooray!

This year I told TH not to buy me any flowers at all (normally he gets me some the day after V-day when they are super cheap) because Sarah’s post opened my eyes about what a waste of money it is. I’m hoping he will save the money and buy me something at the farmer’s market this summer. We’ll see! I kind of want chocolate, but I kind of want to win the Healthy Train even more. I think I’ll just tell him to write me a card that details why he loves me, and I’ll do the same.

I’m writing this post on Sunday evening, and scheduling it for Monday morning, so I don’t yet know the outcome of the France Photography contest. I’ll update this post as soon as I know! Either way, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of those who voted and spread the word about the contest. Happy ? Day!

Update: I lost and I am really sad and a little bit shaky after my hopes came crashing down. Now I will have to talk myself out of eating chocolate and watching sad movies to console myself. I can’t do those things though, because I have to win the Healthy Train, and as I know from experience the thing that makes me feel the happiest is to be really productive. The goal today is conquering, not crying!
