12 Months
Congratulations! We made it!
Nicknames: Boo Boo, BooBoosito, BooBookins
Temperament: You never, ever sit still.
Things I Could Do Without: You’ve started crying and screaming when you don’t get what you want,
Item/Toy We Love The Most: Our new jogging stroller.
Item/Toy You Love The Most: A plush cream rag I received at your baby shower.
Things I’m Loving Most Right Now: Rubbing our foreheads together to show we love each other
Things You’re Loving Most Right Now: Roaming the house like you own the place
Sounds/Words: Still no labeling and attaching meaning to words that I can understand, but you are regularly pointing at things so I can label them for you. You love pointing at the picture above your changing table and hearing me say over and over “picture, picture, picture”.
Foods you like: Milk, milk, and more milk. You never want to eat solids, you just want to drink your milk (we did stop giving your formula though, hooray!)

Let’s look at how you’ve grown over the last year!
And my favorite video yet because it shows little snippets of what life is really like for us.

We love you little one.

You told me months and months ago….but I don’t remember what you said. Can you please tell me again what video editing software you use…or what you would recommend to a newbie. I love how you have done your baby videos with the music and now that I am pregnant….I want to do the same thing after baby comes

I didn’t know you are pregnant. Congrats!
I’m using Adobe Premiere, and it’s pretty complicated. There might be an Adobe Premiere Elements though? If you have a Mac I think imovie can do the same thing!

If there’s one thing that makes me wish I had a Mac, it’s is for iMovie. I’ve tried other programs and it’s my favorite! Very intuitive but with lots of features. Just had to throw that in there for some reason!

I have a pc
I usually like it but when it comes to media (like video editing) I wish it was a mac

Thank you so much for the info! I will look into the Adobe options. Your baby videos this past year really inspired me. A baby video can sometimes be boring…especially when they are so little and not doing a whole lot. I remember you did one when he was only a few months old and was wiggling around and I think you set it to the song “Home”. Speeding up his movements and adding music made what could have been a boring video, really entertaining. I want to do the same thing!
Thanks for the congrats…I am very excited.

And I always love a good 12 month recap of pictures – both the boys albums have one at the end because I love seeing the growth and change. Happy 12th Month Mr. T1!

He is adorable!! One question though, is it just me or are you missing month 11?
I wish I had done something consistent to document each month for my daughter. Such a cute idea.

So cute! I know that you said it’s a lot of work, but maybe you should do this for your other kids at like 1, 3, 6 and 12? But that’s just my perspective as a middle child – there aren’t any baby pictures of me!

I figured since you use the same song in all the monthly videos that you were planning to edit it all into one video showing how he grows. Is that the plan?

Yes but I am SUCH an idiot and didn’t save the music-free versions of the footage for the earlier months. Which means if I wanted to loop it together you would hear the same song 8 times in a row. Lesson learned!

What brand are those pants in the gift he opens? My son needs some like that!

They are by Carters. I love that brand because it fits long and slim babies.
