I don’t have a fashionably modest picture of myself for today, so I thought I’d show you some pictures of other people’s attempts at fashionably modest! Maranda tipped me off to the Yfashion blog a few months ago, which documents the streetwear of students on campus at BYU. A few of my favorites:
Pinterest is littered with stripes and mustard yellow lately.

Cuffed jeans! Could I get TH to pull this one off?

So girly. I’m looking forward to cooler weather because I feel like it’s easier to look fashionable when you can rely on layering.

Is that a vest she has on under that coat? Lately I have a thing for vests.

I like the black tights with brown boots. I do that a lot. I’ve decided to totally ignore the black and brown rule. They do it in EUrope and I like the way it looks!

1I like the rest, but not a fan of the cuffed jeans. A little too hipster for a professional man.

2I love the white ruffly sweater! Anyone know where I can find one for my very own? I love girly cardigans, but its hard to find anything beyond the basic in a cardigan.

I am going to guess possibly target. I have a similar ruffle cardi from target. they seem to always have super cute girly ones there.

E recently picked up on the fact that I’ve been paying more attention to fashion blog lately. So I sent him a few links to guy fashion blogs and he actually tried the cuffed jeans look! I loved it on him.
