We’re back from a wonderful time in Washington, a bit sick and feeling wiped out from a long day of travel, but it was worth it. We feel so lucky to be able to spend so much time with our families each year.

I’m working on my Christmas DITL post, and if you did one (I know Caitlin did) please comment below or email me with the link! At the bottom of my post I’ll include a link to your blog and a picture from your day so readers can explore different Christmas celebration traditions via our stories.

Look at that bedhead!

Mom, dad, Shay/Dan, other family… T1 misses you already. XOXOXO

Jenna, this is more a musing on tradition and a story of the day, than a strict DITL. But you might feel it fits what you want to do – so here it is, just in case. http://amidprivilege.com/?p=9519

I had ment to do a DITL chronicling our Hanukkah/Christmas traditions with two families but made the cardinal sin of not bringing the good camera! Hopefully next year I’ll have learned my lesson and bring it.

I hate when I forget my camera (or my card or battery!).

The worst is when you forget to charge your battery and forget the spare, then to find out the one in your camera is dead. Luckily, with the state of cellphone cameras most people have a camera on them now. May not be the best camera in the world but at least we’re not missing photo opportunities anymore.
