Merry Christmas Eve!
We spent the day in Krakow, and I have so many fun things to tell you about later. I was just granted internet access by That Husband, but I promised not to spend the entire time in Poland blogging. The tree is decorated, we are setting out our gifts, and soon we’ll be watching for the first star to appear in the sky so that dinner can begin (definitely one of the best Polish Christmas traditions).
I think it must have been a combination of our prayers and your well wishes that got us here. (It sure wasn’t anything my mom was thinking, as she spent the time wishing I would get stranded in Washington and spent Christmas with her).
Merry Christmas Eve, and also a Merry Christmas tomorrow.
1I like that Polish tradition of waiting for the first star to be up, very sweet. Enjoy your new-family.
Merry Christmas to you, too!
2I’m happy that you safely made it to Poland! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
Hooray, I’m so glad you made it! Have a wonderful time. Happy Christmas!
3The truth be told, yes I did have those wishes. Who could blame me, if you have ever spent any time with That Wife you know that she is a joy to be around. I would say the same for That Husband but he did not say alot (he had lost his voice, hope you are feeling better.)
But in my defense I did want them to go to Poland. I wanted to share the excitement of Christmas with That Husbands sweet family. This will That Husbands first Christmas with his bride by his side in his own country and home. How could a mother not wish that great blessing upon her daughter and son in law.
I am excited to hear all about the trip. Husband let her blog….we need her!!!
4you didn’t make it very long away from the internet… sounds like me, ahah. Merry Christmas to you as well!
