Kacey wins my photography business naming contest! What does she win? A rain check on a free photo session of her choice. She lives in Utah, and I guarantee I’ll be visiting within the next few years to shoot her and her husband, or maybe even their little baby (someday a little bit farther down the road for that one I think).

It’s kind of getting out of control, but I need a way to manage my “photo flow” so clients see my professional images, not my snapshots, you know?
Congrats. Very lovely watermark and design.
I think we need to come up with some sort of extreme exclimation point so we can show when we’re either somewhat excited or jump on the couch gonna start screaming excited.
Maybe if we added an “X” to it somewhere.

8Nice name. I love the watermark. May I mention though that you used the old wig at the top of the site and the new wig as a watermark… it looks weird to me to have two different ones. I think you should stick with one (the new one).
I really like the engagement pictures shots, you captured some really nice ones. Good job, keep it up and nice editing too.

Did you make any decisions about your own business yet?
It’s me again - it was fun to see you at my blogging neck of the woods just now! Oh, and if you’re curious about that food storage holder (until I get around to that posting) it’s from a company called Shelf Reliance (they always have ads in the LDS Living magazine). We like it a whole lot.

18Oh, Jenna — the new site looks fabulous, and the latest “engagement” pictures are amazing! I am absolutely rooting for you to take off.
If you’re ever in D.C. let me know and I will be hiring you for anniversary shots — I’ve always regretted that we were unable to get married in D.C. and thus don’t have pictures with all the monuments since this is where we’ve lived for so long and met and fell in love (and well, if my husband has moved on and can’t come “home”, then I’ll just be narcissistic and opt for pictures of just me).

I was wondering what blog you’re using for your business. . .is is maybe wordpress.org? I really like the look and would love to switch over our business blog (again): zinchukvideo.wordpress.com. Any pointers?

It is run on wordpress (not wordpress.com, but hosted wordpress), but the template is rather pricey ($179). It’s from a site called http://www.prophotoblogs.com/, and I only went with it because I think it is the least expensive (best) option for me to have a professional blog. Try checking on the free themes on wordpress.org to see if you can find one that works for you!
