For That Wife Love is…..
Knowing your husband listens when you talk about things you love.
For Shell Love is…
Kissing on the beach with the one you love most.
For Christiana (aka Miss D’Orsay on Weddingbee) Love is…
Cuddling up with with Millie the black cat in your parents house AND
Max the orange cat and Berkley the dog AND
a trip to Leeds with your man resulting in a purchase of the first item for your new home together.
For A Sweet Wife Love is…
Your future husband eating bbq while wearing a Wisonsin t-shirt and cheering right by your side at every game (he converted to Wisconson fandom just for her!).
For Amanda Love is…
best when it develops when you’re young (especially for pretty things).
For Mrs. H-B Love is…
learning that her husband, the man who never had an indoor dog before we were married, can love their new dog after all. And that their furry friend can love him too.
For Cecy Love is…
taking a snow day from work and spending time in the park with her husband.
For Natalie Love is… (I’m departing from the pattern to give you Natalie’s exact description, because I know what it’s like to only have weekends with husband)
My husband travels a lot for work (right now he is away for six weeks but does get to come home on weekends), and because of our different schedules we don’t always get to call each other to say goodnight. So, while he is away, he makes it a point every morning to call my work phone before I get in in the morning so my “little red light” will be blinking with a good morning message. It really makes me smile to start my day with a loving message from him when we can’t physically be together.
For Emmie Love is…
Sprinkles cupcakes (and sharing those cupcakes with your favorite people).
For GaTiger Love is…
Adoption
For Kate Love is…
a new friend.
For Lynsey Love is…
the scenery, the lighting, the snow and the memory of standing there in perfect silence with C by her side.
(Can you spot the hidden heart in this picture? If you can’t visit Lynsey’s blog and she will show you!)
For Rachel Love is…
watching her boy snuggle up with a baby. Makes her a little bit “broody”. (Side note: Don’t you just love British terms?)
For Kimmy Love is…
when your husband has a sense of humor about the chores.
For Tasha Love is…
beings surrounded by couples who don’t even notice she is there..
For Jenny Love is…
this.

I wanted to respond with a simple “lovely” but that seemed far too cheesy.

This post really made me smile, so thanks! Love is your husband digging our car out of a foot of snow without asking for any help from me, thus allowing me to stay cozy in my PJs! It took him forever, and I cheered when the car made it out of the mound of snow it was embedded it, but he did it without complaints so I could stay warm inside.
Thanks for reminding us all of so much love!

These are sweet!
Btw, what would be the American term for “broody”? I know I know it but I can’t thinkof it! We also use “broody” in SA.

is it similar to “nesting”?

I usually use a phrase like “it made my ovaries leap” or something, but nesting sort of works. Isn’t nesting more related to settling into a house together?
