I’ve only brushed my teeth one time since I showered last. It’s been 80 hours since my last shower.
Gross.

In 2006 I took a week long whitewater rafting trip on the Main Salmon River. The weather turned out to be so cold that I could not take a shower for 6 days, let alone barley change my clothes.
I can truthfully say that it was the BEST shower I had ever taken in my life.

remember that feeling of fuzzy teeth - it will happen a lot after you have a baby.
when does you mom leave? we want to bring you dinner (i always over cook, so you’d be doing me a favor).
i hope you’re feeling better today. seriously, let me know if i can help with anything. i’m at the grocery store 2 times a week, so can pick up milk or apples for you.

When will be your first opportunity to have a shower? You could always get someone to spray you with a hose as you lie by the pool.

Remember that commenter who said she “admired” the way you can post pics on the internet of yourself looking bad? She was the first thing that popped into my head - I wonder if she’s following this!
There’s something I really like about that picture, though. I think it’s the focus. How did you take it?
As for the shower, I can totally understand - I mean, what is going on with stitches and nastiness etc? It sucks to take that into the shower - but I always feel better after I’ve brushed my teeth. It’s amazing how much perlier and awake you feel. So go, do, brush.

Haha, I’m SO awful at self portraits. Basically I put on my 50mm, stood in front of a window, and took like 50 shots to just get this one with an okay focus. I think my aperture was like 2.0 or so.

I think you look kind of like Angelina Jolie in Girl Interrupted. Then angle or the extreme closeup makes your nose look like hers, and the way you’re holding your mouth is similar- anyway, even 80 hours without a shower you look gorgeous! I’d kill to have that kind of skin without washing my face for that long

You only wish you had that skin because I tricked you by only focusing on my nose. Bah-ha-ha-ha. I’m sooo tricky! There is a mass of nastiness hiding behind that shallow depth-of-field.
