Emmie taught me about Sugar Stacks. This site is so addicting.
This is why I don’t drink soda (I’d say I indulge 5-6 times/year).
Frozen Yogurt has more sugar than ice cream. It just doesn’t seem to taste good unless it has fat, sugar, or salt, does it?
Oreo candy bite? I’ve never even heard of them. Sounds delicious!
A McDonalds Chocolate Shake. Wow.
No wonder I like barbecue sauce so much.
Just ignore the fruit/vegetable section. If you limit your intake on the processed stuff I highly doubt you will ever overdose on sugar by eating fruit!

I read through almost all of it, and I have to say, in some cases, if sugar is wrong I don’t want to be right. I’m trying to avoid processed white sugar more, but I refuse to live in some sort of slavery to making sure I never have any.
Oh, and it felt good seeing my favorite candy (peanut butter cups) listed as the “healthiest.”

I agree. Taking anything to the extreme never seems like the best idea does it? Thus, peanut butter cups shouldn’t ever be fully eliminated if they make you happy.

Ech. This is why I don’t eat processed food. The sugar content (in addition to other junk) is so high.

P.S. This is a great site for making healthier versions of many processed foods. Including Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

word up! I HATE when people act like refined sugar and naturally occurring sugar (like those in fruit) are the same. Someone told me the other day I shouldn’t eat bananas because they have six teaspoons of sugar in them. Give me a break, how about I don’t eat that cake or the candy bar and keep the banana? uhg.
Though, I’m certainly going to become addicted to this site. It’s going to help enforce healthy eating habits for me.

You shouldn’t eat carrots either. I hope that you soon repent of your evil eating habits.

Never heard of that site, but it’s really cool and gets you thinking. I just may design a lesson plan from that to use with my kids at work to teach them about healthy eating, thanks!

This is great info! The truth of soda, is most of the sweetener is actually high fructose corn syrup, which is bad for you in other ways as well. Unless you get Coke made in Mexico, which still has good old sugar.
I’ve tried a bunch of the 100 calorie snacks, but they all taste chemical-y to me. But yes, the oreo bites sound yummy

I always wondered what the difference between regular Coke and Mexi-Coke was!
