Album Design: 1st Draft
It’s here! I was sighing dreamily while watching the whole thing. Mind visiting for yourself and giving any feedback for what you would change? I get to rounds of revisions and I’m paying an incredible amount for it so I want to make sure it’s perfect. I wish I could embed, but I’ll have to send you off to another site. (And don’t laugh too hard if you know TH’s real name when you see what they spelled it as!)
WATCH THE SLIDESHOW HERE
Please come back here and comment below and let me know what changes you would make!
I wouldn’t change a thing! It’s beautiful! Oh - one thing - I would love to see the pictures of you and your sister on the steps with the luggage in a bigger picture. That’s it! You two are freaking adorable.
1Very lovely. It follows the day flow very well so sadly I don’t have any suggestions for what to change unless you have something that jumps out at you.
They did a wonderful job.
2I love it!
3looks great!! Couple of comments;
1 - your family pic is stunning. HOTTEST FAMILY EVER!!
2 - love the pic of you laughing and hubby smiling at you. Sigh …
I think it’s fabulous
4I love it - maybe add a pic of your cake bar and the suitcase guestbook? I know those were such good details!! Nice work!
5Let me start by saying - amazing!
I love pages 5, 16, 21, and of course the last shot on 31.
I do have three suggestions, feel free to ignore me!
page 3 - put the smile as the last one, it might put them out of order, but it makes me happy to think the torture of getting your hair done ended on a happy note
page 6 - put your dad’s photo under the photo of your mom and you clapping … switch it so the other “getting ready” photos are together and then the parents are together
page 30 - can they make the three photos of the exit bigger in any way? i just love those ones (I remember how happy you look, even though you wrote that you were exhausted!) and I feel like they might be too small to show that emotion.
again, feel free to ignore, but you asked for suggestions
i LOVE it.
6my only feedback is more of a question…is the layout for one solid page or is there a centerpoint that is the page fold? My only concern would be if there is a fold that it might cut off some details on some of the spreads. Now I’m super excited to get started on our album….note to self must call photograher

I was wondering the same thing!

I was wondering that as well — seems like there are a lot of images that cross the center of the spread and would be interrupted by the fold?? How is the album constructed?
*sigh*. Get married all over again and add new pictures?
8i LOVE it! looks fabulous!
9Stunning. It’s like a wedding encore.
10It looks absolutely beautiful! The picture of you and your family in b&w is so stunning.
11I LOVED it! the only thing I would change, is slow it down a little. I didn’t have a chance to see all the pics before it switched to another page.
12Is there a way to add the music to the album so that when you open it, it plays?? :o)
I love this song. I asked my high school youth group leader sing it at our wedding. He surprised me by organizing the whole worship band (who I sang with on Sundays) to back him up.
But otherwise I love the album.
13Perfect, tells the story so well- and I second the raves on the picture of you and your family in the woods. Is it weird that it looks kind of like an old fashioned portrait of a royal family to me? Maybe it’s the colors, the formal clothes, the happy yet serious faces. Whatever it is, that is a great family shot, like a one in a million
14What a great job! Its beautiful! My only thing would be the family photos. You have a BEAUTIFUL and dramatic shot of your family as a 2 page spread…. and notsomuch with his. The city shots at the end are great!!! But maybe include some of your great confetti exit shots?
15That’s definitely one of the best wedding slideshows I’ve ever seen Jenna. Great job!
16Wow, I’m blown away. I haven’t seen your wedding pics until now and there are so many amazing details. I’m really impressed with your perseverance in putting the album together. I just told my photographer to do it for me! I really trust her, and I know I’ll have final oversight. Still waiting to get it, though!
Also, I’ve never heard that song before and really liked it!
17LOVE IT!! The song brings me back to 10/18/2008 my wedding day. That was what we danced to for our first dance. Everytime I hear it, it makes me smile. The album is fantastic…you and your husband make a beautiful couple. I wish you many blessings.
18your album is gorgeous and i love the song! i cried a little bit!
19Jenna, your album is gorgeous! I LOVE that song…and the pacing and pictures and layout just fit so perfectly.
20Hi, LOVE your blog. Just wanted to check if you realised on page 15 that the two middle shots of the family were the exact same shot.
That photo of your family in black and white full page spread - stunning.
The only thing I would change is the second to last page - the big shot of you two with Kelli, I’d swap it out for the one of you two exiting the reception. It is about the two of you after all.
Beautiful wedding and lovely photos.
21Wow, just wow. That is beautiful
22It’s stunning. I’m amazed!!
23Oh Jenna, it’s absolutely beautiful.
24I get a “404 file not found” message from their site when I click on the link : ( Was it just for a limited time?
25How fun! The song is just perfect! The only thing is that it seems really fast-like you really wanted to fit it all in one song. I would rather have another song added on and slow it down so that you can really enjoy all the bee-a-utiful pictures and all the fun details of your wedding! I think having a crease in a picture is just fine to make it a 2 page spread, just triple check that it will not cut someone’s face off at a weird spot. Love, love, love it!
26Oh this made me cry! I loved your wedding Jenna- the album is beautiful! There’s only one photo I wish you’d left in- of your hands when your veil got put in!
