I’m going to take it easy this week as I sometimes get a bit overwhelmed with the attacks my posts can garner (I don’t mind when people disagree or express a negative reaction, but if you’ve read through all of my comments I’m sure you’ve noticed a few blatant attacks sprinkled in).
As it is our first wedding anniversary this weekend I thought it would be fun to do a series of photo posts throughout the week showing the progression of my relationship with That Husband. You’ll see our love grow as my body shrinks (it’s quite fun to watch actually) and we’ll end with a post on Sunday (our actual anniversary) dedicated to our marriage and that wonderful husband of mine.
It all began with my plea for him to fix my computer. I developed a crush on his big lips and pretty eyes. We went for a walk (around rape hill for those who went to BYU ) and he held my hand and told me he didn’t want a girlfriend. I wasn’t going to be deterred so easily and asked him to “ward prom”.
I had been working up the courage for weeks now to tell him I wanted to date, and I decided this was going to be the night.
I loved this dress from Goodwill, despite the massive amounts of cleavage it displayed, and I made TH dress up in a red shirt (to match my red shoes) and wear a tie.
I told him, he made me wait 3 weeks before he gave me an answer, and on May 5th, 2007, he and I officially became “us”. We shared our first kiss that same night.

Trolls can be a source of amusement. You should do what Jenny the Bloggess recommends.
I’ll leave the link but I’m thinking she’s not really your style, being the drinking/cussing type of blogger, so I’ll just post what she said to do.
She wrote:
“The great thing about your personal blog is that you get to make the rules. You can delete mean comments, ignore them, make fun of them…it’s totally up to you. I wrote a whole post on my other blog about this last year. Is it cheating if I just link there? Too bad. Keep in mind that if you’re getting lots of mean comments it might be you that’s the problem. Are you writing about eating children for dinner? Because that shit’s inappropriate. If you keep getting one irrationally rude person over and over who is only a distraction you can always go in and edit their comment from “I WILL STAB YOUR DAMN FACE IN” to “You are the best blogger in the world and I want to be exactly like you” and then when she sees it and writes “I NEVER SAID THAT! YOU ARE A LOSER” go edit that to say “I just had to come back and say how much you mean to me. I love you. Please adopt me”. Keep doing that until her head explodes. ”
I happen to love Jenny, but like I said, she’s probably not something you’d enjoy on a regular basis but here is the link:
