We call this his “rollercoaster pose”. It still hurts me to laugh (and often makes me pee my pants) but whenever I see him doing this in his sleep I can’t hold back.
I thought we would be a swaddlin’ kind of family, but this little guy does not like to have his arms confined. I’m thinking it’s because he wants to show off all of his cute sleeping poses?

So cute. I see he’s got the Bili Blanket. Sydney still sleeps like that and I still love it:)

My co-workers new baby does the same thing - those arms refuse to be confined to a blanket! Love the roller coaster pose.
What’s the blue light for?

Adorable! The blue light is for jaundice. It’s called a bili-light.

So cute! Claire didn’t like to be swaddled in the beginning, and then at 3 months we had to start because her arms would go crazy and wake her up! She needed it until around 9 months, when she weaned herself from it. Now I love when she sleeps in the roller coaster pose!

Does every single picture of this kid have to be so adorable? And forget the picture just being cute because of him - they are just great pictures. Next baby, I”m hiring a live-in photographer for the first year. I totally did wish I could hire a photographer for real the other day at Disneyland-I could relax and have fun while someone else gets all the cute shots.
But I digress…he’s a cutie-patootie for sure!

awww, sweet! I thought we would be a much more swaddling family too, but LittleW likes her arms free as well. She also gets cranky about being put in the wrap at times — she’s a free spirit!

My daughter used to do that. She was born during football season and we’re huge Bears fans so we called it her Touchdown! arms.
