1 Month
Nicknames: Boo, Boo Boo, Boo Boo Face, Grunty Grunterson, PK, P, Buddy
Temperament: You have 4 modes. Cry, sleep, grunt, and squirm.
Things I Could Do Without: Projectile peeing off the changing table, the death scream, consistently waking every two hours at night, puking up half your bottle on me after I spent 30 minutes feeding it to you
Item/Toy We Love The Most: The swing (I think we like the white noise function even more than you do, I can’t sleep without it anymore!)
Item/Toy You Love The Most: The Moby (You love to snuggle right in on my chest)
Things I’m Loving Most Right Now: How sweet and calm you are in the middle of the night, the way you stretch so grandly when we unwrap you from your swaddle in the morning, that one time you slept for 4 whole hours in a row during the night, the way that Burts Bees lotion smells on your skin, Ninja kicks
Things You’re Loving Most Right Now: Nakie time on the changing table, blow dryer on your howdy doody, being held on my chest, bouncing on the birth ball, the “Lion King” move, staring at the sketches of Roman still life scenes we have next to your changing table, talking to your grandparents on the webcam, your mommy

He’s a month already?
His changed a lot, and yet still the same. There is definitely both of you and TH in his tiny face.
I love the snuggle with the blue giraffe thing picture.
Will you use the same toy to take pictures of him through the months?

Yep! I’ve seen several other mothers use the same stuffed animal for all the month pictures and I really enjoyed watching their children grow using a toy to show the scale.

What a smart and cute idea to use a stuffed animal, I’ve never seen that done before.

Man time is flying by! He is already looking bigger and just as cute! Love the blue stuffed animal thingy! (Not sure exactly what it is, but I love it!) Love all the facial expressions and my favorite is the feet! I love baby feet, especially after a bath and lotion… they just feel so soft and smell so good!

Jenna-
He is looking adorable. I agree with everyone else, it doesn’t seem like it has been a whole month already.
So I try to give advice or judge, since I don’t have a baby!!! But I thought I would pass this one thought on, since it happened to me.
My mom used formula for me also, and I kept puking it back up, well it turns out I was allergic to milk/formula so they had give me soy formula. Just a thought I would put out there to think about.

We’ve talked a few times about switching to other options, but he just doesn’t seem to be in pain, just unable to self regulate. I have that same problem when ti comes to food.

Just out of curiosity, do you use Pee Pee TeePees when changing him? I hear they’re very good for keeping mommy and daddy dry when changing a little boy. Here’s a link to some organic cotton ones:

I finally see the likeness to TH that everyone keeps raving about in these photos.
I loved the format of this post, made me wish I did something similar and want to note down more for Talia before I forget.

I thought about doing the standard “long letter to my child” format, but I just didn’t have the effort. I decided a quick summary would be enough to jog my memory when talking to T1 about his babyhood.

my baby boy puked up a lot too from birth to 5-6 weeks old. Then, he naturally stopped.
