Remember these? I have a few of them stored up in my drafts and I thought I would post them. (Natalie is probably scratching her head because she submitted this a loooooonnnnggg time ago!) If you have a Fashionably Modest outfit to share please send it in, I’d love to post it! Submission guidelines can be found here.

Saucy without cleavage or baring arms. Two things that are unfortunately popular for office wear! I’m opposed, but I like looking efficient and like I can accomplish the task. Whether we like it or not, clothing says something! Oh, and I never put my hands in my pockets. I felt goofy posing!

Oh my goodness Jenna, I heart you! Do you want to know how old this is - I no longer have those pants, LOL!
Awesome. You rock. And I look like a duck face. I was being silly.

I love these posts and glad to see some back up again! And maybe I’m a little slow, but what’s a “white shade?”

Not slow
, that was some Mormon terminology she used. Shade is a modest clothing company that started out by making undershirts. I don’t like their undershirts as much as I like the ones by Down East Basics though: http://www.downeastbasics.com/

I would kind of like to see this “Fashionably Modest” series as its own entity (like what you are doing with the Food Diary). It has the potential to be a great resource for modest fashion!

I have a question. These outfits are beautiful and great, but I have a hard time dressing modestly because I have an enormous chest and a perfectly normal shirt suddenly looks like stripper-wear when I put it on. It’s really frustrating. I can’t wear anything with buttons and t-shirts get very stretched and blazers don’t close… Any advice?

I definitely have the same problem. I’m tacky and sometiems just wear my shirts with the gapping happening (yeah so not cool of me) and just wear an undershirt underneath to keep my bra from showing.
Most of the time though, I just wear my button down stuff with only the middle button done and a shirt underneath. I think it’s a bit “90′s” of me, but it works really well with my huge chest.
