P, I’m sorry. Your 4 month post is going to sound a lot like your 5 month post because I’m writing them at almost the same time. Our move to Chicago really threw me off my groove! I did take notes on a few things for you though.
Love,
TM
Nicknames: Boo, Boo Boo, Grunty
Temperament: You are happy as long as you are well rested, fed, and changed. You’re kind of high maintenance.
Things I Could Do Without: You wake up starving in the middle of the night, you are not allowed on my white bedspread because you throw up on it every time without fail
Item/Toy We Love The Most: The Moby
Item/Toy You Love The Most: Your hands. Who needs toys when you’ve got such delicious fingers right in front of you?
Things I’m Loving Most Right Now: You still love to have tummy time directly on my chest, when dad and I lay on the bed with you and all three of us laugh and hold hands and hug, the way you laugh at the most random things, my body has conditioned me to start sleeping through your cries (this, I’m sure, is not your favorite thing)
Things You’re Loving Most Right Now: You laugh when we talk to you (still not when we tickle you), you love to stand, you love to be higher than the “big people” and look down on us, you smile and laugh when I pump you up and down over my head, you don’t smile or laugh but you seem to really enjoy being in the water (you lasted for 30 minutes at a pool party we had!)
I was zipping up your pajamas and you laughed. I leaned over you with my hair dangling in your face and you laughed. I tickle you under your chin and under your arms and you look at me like I”m boring you.
You devour your fists with a vigor that I can’t possibly describe accurately with words. It’s unbelievably adorable every single time.
You get a lot of comments from strangers about how strong your legs are.

The ending to that video is cute.. chopping down lower and lower. Is it bad to say he’s a cutie even when he’s crying?

It’s crazy how much they change in such a few months! I’m looking forward to seeing my cousin’s baby, born on May 10th, at Thanksgiving. The last time I saw him he was a week old.
