Fashionably Modest: Amy

Posted by Jenna, Under Uncategorized

A new fashionably modest submission! (Yes I am always accepting them, just send me a picture and your breakdown if you’re interested in being featured.)

I particularly like the way that Amy has paired two necklaces together, something I would like to try to do but can never quite grasp when I’m putting an outfit together. Actually this entire outfit looks a lot like something I would wear!

White Tank Top - Maurices: $18.00
Black Miley/Max T-shirt - Wal*Mart: $4.00 (bouught for part of a costume originally)
Denim Capri Pants - Maurices Sale: $17.00
Red American Eagle Flats - Payless Shoes Clearance: $7.50
Necklace & Earrings - Maurices: Free (gift)

Total Cost of the Outfit: $46.50

  1. I totally forgot about Maurices, I used to shop there in college. I didn’t think there was one near St. Louis, but I found one not too far away. I will have to check it out again, amazing.

  4. I like the two necklace combo too. I’m not very good at accessorizing…good idea.

I talked a little bit about this in the first Fashionably Modest post: https://thatwifeblog.com/2009/07/fashionably-modest-that-wife-in-ruffles/

My version of modesty is defined by my LDS guidelines, so things coming close to touching the knee and shoulders covered.
