Friends! After so many seconded and thirded and fourthded the motion that I go out and get some clothes, I decided to do just that. I didn’t just get a pair of pants and a new shirt though, I bought a whole new wardrobe! It was all found at Family Thrift Store so the prices were great (some things are even new with tags!). I plan to model all of the outfits (I did it for TH last night and I came up with 6 outfits made up of completely new pieces!) and have TH take pictures, so you can see what $125 bought me. I’m officially obsessed with Family Thrift Store and plan on buying all of T1’s clothes there from now on. It’s so organized! And clean! And they make announcements like “Parents, keep your kids with you and stop them from running around like maniacs or we will ask you to leave the store”! And they even had plus-size sections!
Speaking of plus-sized, I have a few links for you. The first plus-sized fashion blogger was found through Clothed Much, the rest came from a list compiled by Healthy Tipping Point.
young fat and fabulous
Fab Finds Under $50
Skinny Emmie
Le blog de Big Beauty (in French, but if you’re looking for pictures you’ll still find some inspiration!)
If you’re a plus-sized bride, I found Plumage through Think Splendid.
Do you have any links I can add to this list?

Yeah for new clothes! I’m in a bit of a bind. I’m pregnant, but losing weight, but bloated… so while most of my clothes fit… they don’t feel comfortable. So I’m stuck wearing my one pair of maternity pants (that are too big but not too tight!) and leggings/sweat pants. It’s fine when I’m just staying home… but not for when I start working.

Yea for buying clothes and soon blogging about it. And not to suck up or anything, but I totally don’t see “plus-sized” when I look at your pics from yesterday.

Yay! So happy for you that you’re excited about your new buys! Right after I had my oldest I refused to buy any new clothes, simply because I was unhappy with my body.. And in turn was looking worse than I really did. New clothes (whether they’re new-new or new-to-you) can REALLY change so much… Feeling good in what you wear can change your whole attitude. Who doesn’t love to feel attractive?! lol. Can’t wait to see the pics of the new outfits!

I would add http://www.alreadypretty.com/ to your list. While she herself is not a plus-sized person, she talks a lot about body image and being comfortable in your own skin - great writing for anyone who struggles with body image. And her outfits are super cute, and adaptable to a wide range of body types.
