Last night before I went to bed I decided to record what it looked like outside. When I woke up this morning it was clear and no snow was falling, but by the time I came back up from my workout it was a blizzard again. Up until this morning my CSA and Co-Op were telling me I would need to drive out and pick up my deliveries tonight! They have since changed their mind and I’m going to go pick things up tomorrow.
Too bad T1 is so young that he doesn’t care about the snow. It would be fun to take him out to build a fort after the wind dies down!

Your world turned black and white it seems. I hope you take a picture of the snow when the sun is up too

I’m not a big fan of snow… unless I’m on vacation at a ski resort. Any other time, while it is pretty, it makes life kind of difficult.

wow, crazy!!
In northern california, where it’s normally rainy every day this time of year, it’s 65 and sunny. It’s pretty weird to see all that snow! I know it can be dangerous, but it’s certainly nice to cozy up to the people you love during cold weather

That looks so magical! Kind of like a scene from Harry Potter. (Inner geek showing…)
I hope you stayed inside… we tried to walk down by the lake because Sunday was loving it, but the winds almost knocked me over. There were cars abandoned on Lake Shore (Sheridan) at the end of our street!

It’s coming down hard here too in coastal Maine. We’re going to leave work and head home soon and I am not looking forward to driving in it at all! It does make for beautiful scenery though, it’s like driving through a post card!

How embarassing?!?! Oh well. I’ll just have to remember and correct it in my head whenever I watch it in the future.

That’s pretty impressive! It’s times like that when I’m really glad to be able to curl up under a blanket and stay inside.

Wow! That must be really fun to watch it from where you live. We don’t have any snow…yet, but it still might happen! It dropped 40-50 degrees in one day, so you never know.

We had about a foot of snow in KC (20 inches at my parents’ house). Shoveling snow is great exercise if I have to help with it anyway.

Yikes! Do I really have to move to the midwest in 6 months?? I’m really going to die in our first Ohio snowstorm. I’m from AZ and more recently from So California. I don’t understand temperatures less than 65 degrees. Hope you stay warm and safe!!

This is what it was supposed to look like in Boston all day. But the temp went up around 10 this morning and instead we got a day of rain to slush up yesterday’s day of snow. Then we got some hail. Wonder what tomorrow will be like …

The world really is having crazy weather lately! Im in Brisbane, Queensland, and we had devastating floods last month and this month Cairns has had a huge Cyclone. Weird… and scary.

Just a wee reminder for you - you may want to call your video Chicago Blizzard 2011 not 2010

Looks like it would have been a snow-in in Dallas for you too - the schools there have been closed for three days! I feel like the city of Chicago will be able to handle the aftermath much better though. Hope you settled in with plenty of food & provisions! Thank goodnes for Netflix.
