Easter
The photographs featured in this video are beautiful, and I thought it was a very moving. I so love the beautifully crafted videos that the Church produces!
After church I think I’m going to focus my time on reading chapters of Jesus the Christ that are relevant to the the crucifixion and resurrection. In the future I will focus on making Easter a learning and growing experience for our children. This Easter though, I plan to revel in the ability to focus so intently on my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and developing a greater understanding of the sacrifice He made and how I can better honor it in my life.
I did want to share a blog with you today, one that I think demonstrates how the Atonement can work in our lives to bring peace in times of trouble. So often when I think of the Atonement I only think of sin, but Christ has offered to ease our burdens, whatever they may be. It’s A Love Story chronicles the life of a family with a husband who recently suffered a stroke and is now living as a paraplegic, and a wife struggling with infertility. I find her hope and faith very inspiring.
He lives!
Happy Easter, Jenna! Christ is risen!
