Nice To See You Again Utah!
My sister has been sick recently (it’s complicated, and I guarantee they have already seen a doctor for any remedies you might suggest) so I rerouted my flight to Utah so I could spend a week with her. I flew in on Monday, my parents came on Thursday, and the four of us left my sister behind on Sunday. The two of us haven’t seen each other since Christmas and it’s strange to think that this is what the rest of our lives will be like. We should have married brothers from the Columbia Basin like we always planned to!
The only picture we ended up taking of the two of us together. For shame! We’re fixing that at Christmas this year.
Playing his favorite game. “Where’s T1? Where’s T1? There he is!”
My brother-in-law’s dad made this chair for him. Won’t my sister be able to do the cutest photo shoots with her babies?
I tear up a little when I look at these. My parents love T1 so much.
On Saturday morning I woke up early and drove down to Provo to spend some time with two of my college besties. We walked across the street to the perfect park. I don’t know if you can see it very well, but it’s shaped like a giant bowl with steep edge on all sides. Perfect place for a walking baby because he can’t climb out!
Saturday evening we were trying to come up with a family activity and I lamented that there was no Top Golf in Utah. We decided to visit a driving range, which was actually really fun! It was relatively inexpensive, they had an old car out there that we could try to hit, and my parents knew just enough to give us some tips on how to not miss the ball quite so often.
T1 has his tongue sticking out just a little bit in that picture on the left. I die over that cuteness!
We found someone who knew how to use a camera to take our picture on Sunday right after church. It was so nice to spend time together as a family, even if our husbands couldn’t be there (my sister’s was out of town and mine is still in Chicago). As our little families grow bigger and bigger weeks like this will become more and more infrequent so I tried hard to remind myself to soak it up as much as I could. I feel lucky to have such a great family. I love you guys!
So many fun and beautiful photos!

6An undiagnosed disease can be so frustrating. I really hope the doctors can find something to help your sister!
You all look happy to be with one another and it looks like the Utah trip gave you the chance to catch up with a lot of friends and family. That always makes for a good trip

11So many great photos! How do you remind yourself to take them all? I get so wrapped up in the moment and I forget all about my camera, even if it is around my neck!

13Oh man, those pictures of T1 playing with your dad are SO-SO-SO adorable!
And the pictures of you and T1 in the pool are super cute, too. For some reason T1 looked a lot bigger than he has in other pictures, and then I realized maybe it’s because he’s getting bigger and YOU are getting a lot smaller! You look awesome!

16Is it just me or are T1′s nails painted? They look adorable!
These are such wonderful pictures and memories, Jenna. You are lucky to be able to go spend this extended period with them. On a side note: I am curious as to TH’s reaction to these trips? Does he ever wish you were home more instead of spending over a month with family?
