I was hoping to get my blog posts written for the week before I went, but I’m getting on a plane in just a few hours to go visit this lovely lady (my sister) and I don’t have anything scheduled and I’m not sure what the rest of my week will be like. I do know that it’ll just be the sisters and the baby for a few days, and then my parents are driving down and it will be the whole family for a few days, and then parents + older sister+ baby will leave younger sister behind. It’s too sad to think about that part.
I just can’t get over how different T1 is now. Last time Shay was with him he was looking like this. Trying to walk and falling flat on his face.
Now I can’t keep him contained for even a moment! He’s everywhere, and into everything, and I do NOT think her house is ready for the havoc he wreaks.
I do have a few drafts sitting in my composer that I think you’re going to enjoy. Two outfits, a photo tour of our current apartment, some GORGEOUS pictures of T1 and some notes about what he’s like at the 14 month mark, a delicious quiche recipe that I can’t wait to make again, and a very long post titled Guiding Our Household to Better Eating that’s really going to help you understand how we transitioned from the standard American diet (SAD) to the semi-vegetarian (compassionavore!) diet we have today.
I hope I have time to polish them up and post them within the week, otherwise I’ll be dropping in with quick little updates here and there (I’m sure my Twitter feed will see lots of love during that time). And don’t forget about That Wife Tumblr. I admit to scrolling through that site several times a day because I love revisiting the photos.
Three posts in one day. Wow! Thanks again for being all my favorites.

What a beautiful baby he is! (Just found your blog, btw, by doing a search for my blog - yours was listed as one that is similar to mine. No wonder I love it!)
Have a great trip!

Have a great time with your family!! I’m counting down until our family vacation in July, and while my family makes me nuts sometimes - I love them more than anything.
