Day in the Life, Freelensing, and New On Jenna cole
I’m a bit consumed with weddings right now, and so That Wife has to take a bit of a back seat. Trying to only work when the baby is sleeping means I struggle to find time to do it all!
This image on Saturday was taken using the Freelensing technique. You can see another image from this wedding, created using the Brenizer Method, on Jenna Cole.
I’m getting ready to launch TWLC2. I need the motivation! (I’m waiting on pictures from one more person before I reveal the results of the first round). If you participated in the last one and have feedback regarding how it could run better this time around I’d love to hear it.
I’m also ready for another Day In The Life post. Want to tell me which day you think I should do it on?
I tend to just vote for the first day you offer! I’m looking forward to TWLC.

1I am so motivated to participate in Round 2 of TWLC. I totally flaked in the middle of Round 1. However, I am on a roll and READY!
I would love it if the reporting could just be simplified into a Google spreadsheet or something other than the website we used last time.
I find MyFitnessPal is a great place to have a food and exercise log. It has a social aspect to it, but I’m not sure that it has the group function needed.

3I’m so excited for TWLC#2 and plan to kick butt..
Anyways..maybe it’s just my untrained eye, but I really can’t tell the difference between free lensing in this picture and not. Am I missing something? Where should I be looking to notice the technique?

5I am very excited about TWLC2 - and I second kylydia’s sentiment about using a Google Doc rather than the dailyburn website. I had a hard time remembering to check in there - or at all. I know not everyone blogs or is on Twitter but if we could have a page similar to the October photo challenge where we can all check in and visit each other’s sites that would be really cool too.
I also liked the idea you had mentioned at one point of a cost being associated to join in because I think that might help me stay on board and then it could be used to buy a prize for the winner or just as the prize in general.

that’s funny because i was thinking that saturday would be a pretty boring day with general conference on 4 hours out of the day. and when we watch conference we just lounge around in our p.j’s and eat muffins. hahahaha!!!

I’m just thinking it would be nice to have a little story of some of the people from TWLC. Hear what worked, how they stayed motivated, etc. It can be a great example.
I was never really able to login my weight because we don’t own a scale at home. But I’m happy to report that I lost about 8% of my weight. I really have no need or wish to loose anymore than that however. For me signing up for the Half Marathon was a great motivation, finding a training plan, joining a running group once a week. I’m still in shock when I see how my clothes don’t fit anymore and looking at myself in the mirror. I just wish I had not lost so much on the bra size too, but hey can’t get it all.

I lost 25 pounds and pretty much all of it was due to the 17 day diet (which I only followed for cycle 1 & 2) and then joining a CSA this summer and eating healthier. I haven’t bought a package of cookies since March probably.

Can you explain a bit about TWLC? I’m not personally looking to lose weight but I would love to join a group of motivated people who are looking to support each other in their journeys to be more healthy.. Is there a way to have communication among the members, like a message board or something? I would LOVE that!

10Baby will be 6 weeks next week - and I get to return to working out! Im ready to get my body back and purchase some Fall clothes! I look forward to signing up!
