Hyde Park LDS Halloween party
Earlier this year I did a little photo booth at our church Valentine’s Day dance, and this week I’m doing the same thing. Our church does an annual Halloween party with Trunk or Treat, activities for kids, a soup cook-off, and this year a photo booth. You can see pictures from last year here.
If you’re in the are and you’d like to have a safe, free, kid-friendly activity (though you certainly don’t have to have kids to come) the Trunk or Treat starts at the LDS Church in Hyde Park at 5:30 pm on Friday the 28th. Other than a prayer over the food, it’s not a religious activity (my Jewish friend actually helped me at the Valentine’s Day one ) so no matter your faith I think you’ll have fun. Plus you can get your pro pics of you all dressed up in your Halloween costume!
My best friend growing up is LDS. I always loved going to her churches events. They were always fun and sense of community that was there always amazed me, even when I got older.
