Hyde Park Cooking Club
Cooking club is finally up and running and I *LOVE* it. (Yes, if you’re wondering, I’m planning to continue cooking club in San Francisco as well!)
This Thursday, at 8 pm, my friend Paige will be showing us how to make sushi, dumplings, and marinated veggies. Or maybe just two of the three. Either way I know it’s going to be awesome and we would love to have more people come. So far we’ve had between 3-5 people, including myself each week, and we definitely have room for more.
Last time we did a taste test, trying out popcorn made with kernels straight from the farm, kernels from the grocery store, and microwaveable kernels in a bag. The farm fresh kernels were 100x better. That’s what cooking club is, trying out new things and talking for 2 hours.

1I want to get together a cooking club here in Raleigh with my friends but it is so hard to find a time where all of us can come.

2Oh this sounds like so much fun, food & chatting are my favourite things lol. Too bad I’m on the other side of the world so can’t join in yours. Hope it continues to be a success.
