This is where I track what I eat, in an attempt to keep myself accountable for every morsel that passes my lips. I gained 65 lbs during my first pregnancy and I would be very happy to lose them all within a year. I'll be thrilled if I can lose all 65 plus 10 more. I am 5'2". As of December 2010 I weigh 185 lbs. My goal weight is 145 lbs. I don't like to eat breakfast.

I love this idea and am hoping to recreate your spinach and goat cheese salad soon. One question, why are you drinking whole milk? I know you have family in the dairy industry and wondered if you were against reduced fat milk for some reason or if you just prefer the taste of whole milk?

I switched to whole milk when I started reading books about the whole foods movement, which argue that the less a product is processed, the better. I would actually love to drink raw whole, but it’s a lot of work to get it and a little more effort than I would like to make. I can actually switch pretty easily between fat free and whole, but I definitely prefer whole.
