My typical Polish breakfast
Lunch was at a little place just off of the Krakow main square. They served us glasses of water with lemon, orange, and mint. Very nice!
My salad. Lettuce, walnuts, pineapple, and wedges of toast with goat cheese and Parmesan melted on top. Not very Polish but quite good.
We split this leek soup which was SO good.
TH’s panini. He tried to order pierogi but they were out.
Dessert was from a nearby bakery. Most Polish desserts are too dry and not sweet enough for me, these desserts included.
We finished the day’s culinary adventures with some soup from my MIL

No pierogi! Awful! That was my favorite part about eating in Poland.
I agree with you on the desserts.
Did you check out the stands in the main square?
